You two are going to go round the bend watching this share take your eye of it for a week or two.

amberjane - 13 May 2004 22:28 - 86 of 249

My first taste of buying and selling a share in the same week, loverrrrly. It was that nice tight spread kendoken mentioned that makes it possible.

windys160 - 16 May 2004 21:56 - 87 of 249

will the new oil well go online this week? and if it does what affect will it have on the price? up all the way hopefully :-))

ckmtang - 16 May 2004 22:16 - 88 of 249

i think so. i still think een have massive potential

rkausar - 17 May 2004 16:40 - 89 of 249

With the price of crude oil at $40 pb and eventually to $50 pb, with production to start from the second oil well very soon and with the company being in black,
i see nothing but profits. A Possible third oil well is due to be drilled later on this year.

Seymour price have forcast profits of 5m for year end Dec 05'.

Sit back and enjoy this ten bagger...

driver - 19 May 2004 09:59 - 90 of 249

rkausar
If it is a ten bager it would put the M/Cap on about 1b a bit steep don't you think.
P.S The price of oil is coming down.

proptrade - 19 May 2004 12:13 - 91 of 249

Emerald Energy Plc said campo Rico#1 in Colombia has been drilled and was brought into production yesterdayat a level of 400 barrels of oil per day which will be increased to 750 barrels per day over an appropriate period....

gordon geko - 21 May 2004 13:03 - 95 of 249

is this news going to take it to 3p or 1.5p ?? not sure what the appropriate period might be ????

proptrade - 24 May 2004 13:57 - 96 of 249

you do the math... 100 million pound company (ish) and 400/750 barrels per day). 1.5 p if u ask me...

Lets be a bit more hopeful after all look at the price of Lastminute.com
What about 3.5p

kendoken - 24 May 2004 16:46 - 98 of 249

even 5p!! get a reality check this share is not goona move above its present level if it moves up even by 1p heaps of people gonna sell and take price back down.

proptrade - 25 May 2004 13:37 - 99 of 249

emerald is certainly NOT lastminute.com and I think you just have to be realistic and put this company in the perspective of some other small and midcap oils.

it has a monster mkt cap versus production so i think it requires a HUGE boost to double in price.

this name is way way too expensive to be aquired and has already had its spike from the current paultry production.

make your money really work, sell een and buy a quality growth story...for the record i am hugely bullish of ESY (Easynet)- growth, cash and s**t hot management.

what do you think the prospect for the next six months are will they make the 3p mark or not? let's hope so.

windys160 - 04 Jun 2004 08:02 - 101 of 249

have you all lost interest in this now or r u waiting for the price to rise before commenting any more?

proptrade - 04 Jun 2004 10:10 - 102 of 249

usual spivvy story...when volume and hype picks up so will the comments!

windys160 - 04 Jun 2004 14:38 - 103 of 249

protrade what do you think the prospect for this company could over the next 12 months? cheers windy

proptrade - 04 Jun 2004 16:40 - 104 of 249

i really think we have already seen the highs of the year and we will see the stock consolidate down to the 1.35 ish level and maybe have the odd spike to around where they are trading now. there is no new news and unless they sign a contract for more wildcat drilling there won't be a catalyst for a while.

best advise is look for a more dynamic name in the sector or latch on to a growth story with a company that has consistantly delivered (eg ESY).

a great weekend to all
