Israeli Gaza conflict?????? (GAZA)

Fred1new - 06 Jan 2009 19:21

Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?

If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?

Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?

What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

Fred1new - 08 Feb 2009 22:16 - 850 of 6906

Hilary

Ho. ho.Ho.

I would think it is a fairly accurate portrait of yourself. Possibly the source of your information and humour.

Revert to reading and viewing the international opinion of Israel's action and consider where your head is.

The opinion of the United Nations the humanitarian groups, the American Administration and spokesmen of the majority of European governments have similar views to mine. Perhaps you are sharing a psychosis. Consider your reactions to any criticism of Irsrael's murderous disprortionate actions.

There are even groups of Israelis within Israel who are condemning the actions.

Fred is just deliberately on a wind up mission now but seeing as he mentioned it amazing that somebody who says "at least I try to think and question my beliefs" refuses to watch that video (or at least refuses to admit to having watched it.)

Isaacs - 08 Feb 2009 22:22 - 852 of 6906

"Chocolat, I try to pick my worlds carefully and think about the contents of what I write.

Perhaps you should try doing so."

---------------------

Fred - not sure if that was a typo or you do really believe you can pick your world ;)

hilary - 08 Feb 2009 22:24 - 853 of 6906

It's strange that you appear to have automatically assumed that the picture referred to you, Fred. Why might that be?

splat - 08 Feb 2009 22:39 - 854 of 6906

:-) Hils

Gausie - 08 Feb 2009 22:39 - 855 of 6906

Cos he remembers when it was taken.

MightyMicro - 08 Feb 2009 22:49 - 856 of 6906

Fred,

You said, in post 848, I haven’t watched the Clip you are referring to . . .

My question is: why have you not?

MM

tyketto - 09 Feb 2009 01:04 - 857 of 6906

Because, just like Hamas, he has one point of view and he's
not about to destroy his rant.
Mediation from Hamas's point of view.
Hah.

cynic - 09 Feb 2009 08:16 - 858 of 6906

sorry Fred, but having skimmed through your response, for yes or no would have sufficed to all 3/4 questions i asked instead of 100-200 words, you are at best rationalising and certainly your early para of " most people ....." is actually balderdash

Fred1new - 09 Feb 2009 10:22 - 859 of 6906

MM
No. Because, I didnt read that post. But I would expect from remarks to be at the usual offensive level.

tyk.
My views are similar to views to the majority of informed opinion. Unless you consider your opinions posted on this thread superior to the International Humanitarians Agencies and The United Nations. If so like others on this thread I think you need a reality check.

Cynic.
I think the problem is the superficiality of your question. Perhaps, it shows a limitation of your knowledge on personality maturation processes.

Hilary, as I said I thought it was a self-portrait of you yourself.

One of the many interesting thing about humour, is that it the humorist is showing their own values and also the position from which he/she views the world.

Have a nice thoughtful day.

hilary - 09 Feb 2009 10:44 - 860 of 6906

Fred,

In the space of 5 short weeks you have succeeded in alienating yourself against the vast majority of people who use this bulletin board with your pathetic rant. When people have tried to point this out to you, you've just ignored them and instead refer to messages of support that you've received.

It might also interest you to learn that I and many others here communicate away from the boards. Without exception, everyone that I have been in contact with these last few weeks is calling you a "fcuking prat". They're not my words. The majority have also decided to just ignore you and leave you in the corner to froth away at the mouth until the vet arrives.

Food for thought?

MightyMicro - 09 Feb 2009 10:59 - 861 of 6906

Fred:

MM
No. Because, I didn’t read that post.

Re post 821 and your absurd unwillingness to view the clip -- or at least to admit to having viewed the clip, I have one thing to say to you -- there's none so blind as those that will not see.

More food for thought -- for you, that is.

tyketto - 09 Feb 2009 11:14 - 862 of 6906

Pons asinorum?

cynic - 09 Feb 2009 11:15 - 863 of 6906

Fred .... in the words of virtually everyone else here, you're a total tosser ..... initially did not agree with them, but am now converted

Version of the facts

The physicist Leo Szilard once announced to his friend Hans Bethe that he was thinking of keeping a diary:

I dont intend to publish. I am merely going to record the facts for information of God.

Dont you think God knows the facts? Bethe asked.

Yes, said Szilard. He knows the facts, but does not know this version of the Facts

Post 821? *yawn*

XSTEFFX - 09 Feb 2009 12:24 - 866 of 6906

For oil exporters throughout the Middle East and North Africa the drop in crude pr.ices is expected to reduce oil revenue by $300 billion this year.Less money for AK 47's.

Gausie - 09 Feb 2009 12:52 - 867 of 6906

XSTEFFX - that's exactly the issue. The same will be spent on AK47s - less will be spent on food, medicine, transport, education etc

Raw, Have not read 821. But the comment "disappear in mire of posts" I think must apply to the attempt swamp postings, which are uncomplimentary to the views of your postings.

I don't recall seeing any uncomplimentary views to my postings. They do seem to be drowed out with your rubbish though but thats without you even bothering to try and challenge me on the points raised. Question after question unanswered. Are you a politician by any chance?

I have missed the fun today. Brilliant picture Hil.

cynic - 09 Feb 2009 13:12 - 869 of 6906

Gausie .... you are of course absolutely right .... has always been thus, all over the world
