Now that we all know what the prospects for MOS are i.e. damn good, thought I'd get a new thread going and just highlight MOS' attractions for any new investors.
Key highlights:
* Significant progress made, rationalisation programme almost complete
* Acquisitions integrated well
* International marketing network established
* Record order books, enquiry levels high, several new customers won
* Recent Director buys
From the Chairman's statement:
Outlook
Over the past year the management team has extended the product range, put in
place in-house manufacturing, rationalised the existing business and greatly
expanded the marketing effort, opening up significant new markets to MOS
products. Once the acquisitions have been fully integrated MOS will offer a
wider product range to a broader market and have a much reduced cost base. We
have record order books, we have attracted major new customers and we are
targeting new markets, worldwide. Overall, we have made good progress and the
outlook remains extremely positive.
Trading Update
MOS International PLC ('MOS'), the oilfield services company, announces that
trading is in line with market expectations. TURNOVER FOR THE YEAR TO 31st MARCH 2005 IS EXPECTED TO BE CIRCA 10M COMPARED WITH 1.05M IN THE YEAR TO 31st MARCH 2004.
MOS currently has an order book in excess of 7m for delivery prior to the year
end.
The recent acquisitions have integrated well, the rationalisation programme at
MOS is almost complete and that at Ansell Jones will be completed in this
financial year.
Tender and enquiry levels remain high and the Board is positive regarding the
future. Significant progress has been made and the business is well on the road
to recovery, with turnover forecast to show a further considerable increase, in
the next financial year.
On a turnover of 10million with a profit of say 1million, this company is on a P/E ratio of just 8 (market cap being around 8million at present). This company has been overlooked by the institutions and investors alike and is due a big re-rating soon IMHO. DYOR as usual.
Chad.

Nothing has changed really but problem with this stock is the
persistant selling way under the bid price quoted, there's only
so much stock sold that the mm's can find a new home for and
for weeks now there's million+ trades that are sold at a.02-0.05
discount which is making the market makers such easy money.
Today was first signs that this selling pressure is starting to really
hurt the share price, i think moi is extremely cheap but i cannot forcast
how low the shareprice can go whilst certain parties keep selling millions
way below the bid price ?

We should hear about new ticker soon probably next week. I think we will also start to hear about new contracts won, once the new name is up and running. I think we will see the share price start to move up before Christmas and then they'll be no looking back. In effect we will have a new company, leaner and fitter than the last one and a good solid management team to take it onwards and upwards. The Chairman has invested 700k of his own money @ .4p. He's the one who knows most about the company so I take that as a very good sign. I think that once this all gets going with new name and contracts won, it could move to 2p very quickly. Good luck to to all!

Chrissie, I admire your continued optimism. If the SP goes any lower, it'll be me needing a new ticker!

lol! I know how you feel, but I honestly expect good news to follow name and ticker change. Look at today up 4% on no volume all very encouraging.
Just keep remembering, the man who knows most about the company has just invested 700k @ .40p.
Owl,
Wherever you are, I hope you're flying high!

Chairman's Loan to Company
MOS International plc ('MOS' or 'the Company'), the oilfield services business,
is pleased to announce that Philip Wood, Executive Chairman of MOS, has agreed
to provide a short-term loan of 300,000 to the Company. The funds raised will
be used as additional working capital for the Company.
The placing is a related party transaction under the AIM Rules. The Directors of
the Company, other than Philip Wood, consider, having consulted with the
Company's nominated adviser, that the terms of the transaction are fair and
reasonable insofar as the Company's shareholders are concerned.
The loan carries an interest rate of 1% per annum above the Bank of England base
rate with a review date of 2 May 2006.

i have a strange feeling that the Langbar debacle is holding these guys back.....(seeing that MOI consistently needs capital, and Langbar have loads of it - well maybe....)

The persistant seller is holding the stock back, never a day goes
by without a few sells below the bid, the mm's are having a bonanza
with the small punters paying the offer prices and then the mm's getting stock
back for a 0.02-0.05p profit, still believe it has long term potential, the
advfn thread is quite informative unlike others which are spoiled with spam.

Bos - I'm not sure it's his mouth that's where it is, if you get my alimentary drift.
Brave man, for all that. He either knows something - or nothing.

bllinger,
Hope it's payback time for all of us. The Chairman invested 700k a couple of weeks ago and has now stumped up a 300k loan. As I keep on saying he is the one who knows most about the company....be daft not to follow him.
Next week the company gets a new name and a new ticker Global Marine Energy GME. We start with a new slate and the only news under the new name will be GOOD NEWS!!!!!!

When we have a brand new thread, shall we have one with flashy charts and graphs? Also, we need a nice catchy header for Global Marine Energy.
