all of a sudden the phoney frog realises he's just a standard toad who likes us all to believe he's only bought princesses and at very low prices too, and nary an ugly sister - to which he admits anyway .... quite a few of his cousins to be found here it has to be said

one can but hope harry. gut feeling told me it wouldnt sink much below 80 ( ish ) as i was looking to add; but current underlying general mkt conditions are still most dangerous -in fact trecherous ./furthermore they change every day so one indeed needs to be nimble of foot....and as with any sudden knee jerk movement in mkt the baby always goes down the plughole with the bathwater .......(.currently on a free ride after prematurely selling half my holding which i bought years ago @ 39 when i started this thread....lts the ONLY share ive ever fancied enough to start a thread,,,,ln AFR we have an,excellent board, strong management ,+ proven prospects. Now big prof oil shorters have dissappeared coupled hopefully with an improvement in mkt conditions oil is only going one way - north ,

i am a very selective trader/ investor . only very rarely do i buy outside the energy / related supporting cast sectors and when i do it is in both hard and soft commodities., But my true interest lies in the sphere of hydrocarbons.- the maker and breaker of nations -Texas tea ! . black gold ! Call it what you will ..--OIL !...............................................................................................................................................................................................................................Now by no means am i a polymath, and hence, i buy stocks in a sector i can truly understand, The hi-tec sector and other highly specialist/ foccussed sectors can kiss my a*** , ; Now considering my past working environment and the sheer amount of research i put into an individual stock[ and i have been interested in the subject of oil -initially from a political vantage point ,and then both a geo/eco-political one, since i was doing my bacc -over 20 years ago] it happens to be very true - i very rarely BUY a dud .,,,,,but is this something to be ashamed about ?? Sometimes i see it as a curse as l am always awaiting the invincible defeat that awaits all gamblers . Dont forget i CHOSE not to have traded for over 2 years as i wasnt prepared to play in a highly inflated/ even more highly leveraged mkt which was quite rightly brought eventually to its knees and is now a subsidized mkt . EVERYBODY and his dog foresaw saw the recent crash coming but like lemmings most juste chose to carry on / business per usual ......l didnt; ,,....,Since you choose to get so personal , and believe me i can get very personal , you. have reckied some right horror stories. RTN spring to mind . but i dont wish to get embroiled in any unpleasantness so come on play on facts and not assumptions .

initially i thought your posts pregnant with sarcasm ...then i thought there must be something more-there must be -there had to be -something i was missing - something that was utterly lost on a simple man such as l -otherwise the posts were too simple and merely intended to goad ......then sadly i realised i was right first time around ../...l edited the back off phrase in order to stop you from being scared and so that you would not turn against me and stop posting .Looking forward to your next post with tremendous anticipation`please post soon -if not sooner ` please hurry

that was true across the board to day, with the notable exception of WOS, which unfortunately do not hold any more

all sorts of (un)funny things happening at the moment ..... market sentiment is skittish to put it mildly, and there may also be an element of peeps selling before 5th march so they can rebuy in a month without potential penalty (30 day rule)

Hopefully cs have finished now. So we should start to see more upward momentum back over the pound mark. Then upwards from there through the rest of the year.

me too Blanche, me too ,,,,,,,,,,,.....i added modestly @ 81p . on the basis that having already earnt a free ride on what remained of a considerable buy years ago. when the price is averaged down its still very cheap ;-Also chart shows 10, 30 , 100, and 180 day ema/mda are converging .....).....Mr.C..........methinks the point you make in posting 863 reg. 30 day rule is most valid and ignored with peril. lt has mighty serious implications for the mkt . something which i shall try and explain on talk to yourself thread......( when i arrive at destination - visiting sister.
