Agree seroxat again. An EGM is not timed for announcements but to approve resolutions. What we might expect is a trading statement that gives progress on the various products but I think this will be in fairly general terms. Also fair to conclude that any Wal-Mart negotiations will be on a turnkey pasis including Starpol and need the completion of the EGM before finalisation. Mind, I do expect significant progress in September.

Sorry Sidtrix - I am not trying to duck the question - but I also read the FYB site - and Captain Guide is reported on there having posted on (I think) ADVFN. He seems to post very infrequently on SEO - but each time he has posted - his news has been fairly accurate - as has been his timing - a tad better than mine & Bosley's wind and water - which was pure guesswork.
The feeling by others is that he may be an insider - or someoone close to an insider.
Without trawling through all of the posts on the FYA site - I cannot substantiate the above - therefore - as with all these things - a pinch of salt is required
Having said that - as with this board - you learn to read some posts more than others because those people have been in the game, have experience and usually are able to back up their theories. Captain Guide is one such person that I have learnt to watch on the other board. Time will tell if he is right.
Yes I agree that Tuesday is the EGM and that we could all have predicted something happening on Tuesday - lets wait until Tuesday and see if his little riddle makes more sense.
Baza (... and I thought I was being helpful - tsh)

Yes, i see September being the month for 'significant progress'.

There may be a bit of a drop in the sp following the egm, i think many shareholders are expecting the big RNS and they could be disappointed, but you may have to be quick as much of the groundwork for a Walmart deal has probably already been done and once Biotec is ours it might only be a matter of signing off the contract, remember those US engineers are all trained ready to go which makes me think the initial planning/negotiations began many months ago.

I reduced my holding by a large amount, and now looking to top up anythink below 18p seems a good price.

Personally I am not expecting anything from the EGM. Too often PIs believe that there will be earth shattering news released at these events and generally all you get is 'that all resolutions been passed'. It would be a nice surprise if they do give a trading update, but don't bank on it.

aldwick. Are you trading in CFd's or margin in SEO? If so what are your percentage costs per deal, in and out. I find the SP movement prohibitive to me. thinking if I did so I would have a spike against me 10mins later. I am stuck with being long term on this one.

Hi All,
We haven't had an EGM in the recent past, but the best example of what might happen, would be the last two AGM's, where 'other significant news' was reported, check out these two RNS, and hopefully the EGM statement will also be along similar reporting lines ....
Both statements appear to have been issued at the start of the meeting ....
