Did you get my mail, meggapooper?

chocolat - 25 Oct 2007 16:11 - 8550 of 11056

Could do with a smaller spread for sure - but then it does move.
Eight is a lot less than twenty, I think it is that Fins would like to rip you off for.

Ah oui ma brave - je pense j'ai un peu pensee d'autres choses.

Je rondrai.

Sterling Yen's probably best left to the girls, don't you think Choccie?

The merest thought of meggers and wild rides is something best left undisturbed in the far flung reaches of the mind. Especially if Elsie and M de P are around.

hilary - 25 Oct 2007 16:18 - 8553 of 11056

Stick with Euro Yen for now, meggers. It'll be healthier for the blood pressure.

chocolat - 25 Oct 2007 16:31 - 8554 of 11056

Indeedy p'tite cerise ;)
Just had a couple of meggertastic rides on it since 3pm :o)

mg - 25 Oct 2007 18:22 - 8555 of 11056

Girls, girls - all this riding - it'll give you headaches and sore bits.

BP is well under control - stopped out of that long 'cos I was off doing other stuff - could have made a few.

Can't stay here gassing - have to get the dinner on ............ ooooops - that sounds a bit dom - so actually, I've gotta get down t'pub to drink 20 pints of strong beer and play darts wi t'lads. I'll gerra kebab on the way home - wi lashings a chilli sauce on - and a couple o' raw onions.

You'll be sleeping alone then ;)

I updated Sun Java yesterday as part of the routine monthly update and today I'm unable to drag the detached FX PowerCharts windows out of one monitor and into the adjacent monitor.

It seems too coincidental, so I'm uninstalling Update 3 and seeing if that works.

hilary - 26 Oct 2007 10:08 - 8558 of 11056

Well uninstalling Update 3 and reverting to Update 2 of Java has certainly done the trick. There appears to be a conflict somewhere with Update 3, FX PowerCharts and Matrox Multidisplays.

chocolat - 26 Oct 2007 10:24 - 8559 of 11056

I haven't been prompted to update anything (unless it happens automatically?) and I'm finding the charts seem to stick a lot more since ChartStation was updated.

Also, when I switch charts to another currency pair I have to change timeframes straight away in order to get my lines back.

Plus I've just discovered that NetDania is for beginners :o)

hilary - 26 Oct 2007 10:46 - 8560 of 11056

My Sun Java is set to update on the 25th of each month, Chocopops. I seem to remember there being a problem with a conflict after an update a month or two back.

You can see your current version through your Control Panel and adjust the settings for checking for updates there too. Current version is SE6 Update 3, although I've rolled back to Update 2 because of the problems above.

I've not had any problems with ChartStation/PowerCharts lately. They seem to be much better than they ever used to be.

chocolat - 26 Oct 2007 11:59 - 8562 of 11056

Do keep up Mikey ;)

hilary - 26 Oct 2007 12:02 - 8563 of 11056

Sameusername@sky.com, Doris.

chocolat - 26 Oct 2007 12:03 - 8564 of 11056

Don't tell him Hils, until he parts with a tenner - a fiver for you and the fiver he still owes me :o)

chocolat - 26 Oct 2007 12:03 - 8565 of 11056

Doh

Bullshare - 26 Oct 2007 12:11 - 8566 of 11056

Why is it I always seem to owe you women money, maybe I am old fashioned but I always thought you should be indebted to us men!

chocolat - 26 Oct 2007 12:18 - 8567 of 11056

Pecuniarily or otherwise?

chocolat - 26 Oct 2007 12:31 - 8568 of 11056

Thanks for the Java info, Hils.
Apparently I have SE6 version 1.6.0-oem
I shall tread trepidatiously :S
