It's time for all you gorgeous boys and girls to throw darts at your charts and enter Playboy's competition to guess the numbers by close of play on the last trading day of 2005. As we approach the festive spirit of giving, can we make everyone a winner please! All offers of prizes will be greeted with utmost enthusiasm and simpering gratitude.

After a lot of persuasion, Peebee's giving away his first breakfast of the new year.

STORMCALLER - 30 Dec 2005 23:09 - 86 of 118

Does the extra leg in any way compensate for being "Morganless"??

Seymour Clearly - 31 Dec 2005 00:09 - 87 of 118

I reckon Stormy got the dow. SC was robbed by the other SC. Nice to get one right Stormie - did you put money on it though? ;-)

STORMCALLER - 31 Dec 2005 00:24 - 88 of 118

SC,

Nothing personal......it's business.....LOL
When I picked the level I had been trading the Dow, but I know lots of people were favouring a year end rally, I just got lucky..:-)
No trading this week though, in dispute with CMC over a cancelled stop that "miraculously" reappeared......and busted my account...:-(

Congratulations to the other winners!

A special Thank You to chocolat for posting / hosting the competition..:-)

Regards

The other SC

Oops - sorry for missing the end of the end thingie, but I finally had to get serious in the kitchen. Anyway, everyone's gone now, I think.

And I'm very very pleased to announce the winners
(where's the fx fairy when you need him for the fanfare?)

Footsie Peebeeee 5618.8
DAX skg 5408.3
DOW Stormie 10717.5

Fantastic! You know - we might not have had a lot of entries, but the winners were pretty spot on!

Back later with the prizes :)

ThePlayboy - 02 Jan 2006 13:40 - 90 of 118

ThePlayboy - 03 Jan 2006 21:15 - 96 of 118

no i,m going to accept my prize:)

chocolat - 03 Jan 2006 21:33 - 97 of 118

Well here goes then..

I'm sure the rules said somewhere that you can't win your own prize, so I'm posting Peebee's Mondeo to Stormie (just finished licking all the stamps)

Sorry, skg - but by the time Gausie had finished with it there wasn't much room left, and Stormie's legs are shorter than yours :)

but this is all for you

and your very own bowl

bet you're wondering what's happened to the cake now..

and then there's Peebee

chocolat - 03 Jan 2006 21:54 - 98 of 118

chocolat - 03 Jan 2006 21:55 - 100 of 118

And finally, the prize for the twit with the duffest number

It's amazing what you can get out of a packet of Werthers, dont you think BigA :)

chocolat - 03 Jan 2006 22:02 - 101 of 118

Plenty of wine left for everyone else too :)
Except for pth's bottle - where did that get to?

and err...

ooops :S

ptholden - 03 Jan 2006 23:12 - 102 of 118

Dunno Choccy, disappeared in the blink of an eye! Sure there's another one in the fridge though :-)

bosley - 03 Jan 2006 23:22 - 103 of 118

hmm, not a bad way to run a comp . she gets a date (complete with toys), a bottle of wine and plateful of fudge cake......... and she didn't even win!!!! good comp, well done :)

STORMCALLER - 04 Jan 2006 01:36 - 104 of 118

I must apologise for my late arrival (I am ALWAYS late), but yesterday I was told this would be tomorrow...lol

bosley,

From what you say.....it would appear she did?!?

I will pass on the acceptance speech (cheers from every corner..LOL) suffice to say the prize is most apt, as I seem to be short at the most inappropriate times..:-)

Fortunately the wine is excellent, and of a character sufficient to gloss over any shortcomings on the speech front, so CHEERS!!

(note to chocolat......it ain't the quantity....but the quality...:-)) )

ThePlayboy - 04 Jan 2006 08:41 - 105 of 118

thanks chocs but can you come along to the party aswell, high boots please:)
