Personally SD, I think that your prediction for the SP to be around 1.47 by 2009, is dependent upon current EVO estimates. Personally if SEO's portfolio accelerate customer adoption then I feel that this 2009 price will be somewhat alot more. We don't know how quickly the ASDA UK greenseal is progressing. The figure of several hundred could take all of 12 months or maybe sooner/longer. The crux of it is how the States react to this technology and who will adopt it and how fast.

IMHO

SD Hi,

Open trays is a good point, we could see the trays used for vegetables or fruit etc.

I don't see that Starpol 2000 can be seen to be used in any 'sealed' food packaging without Greenseal though, due to the cross-linking of polymers, which would occur within a film or within a tray, so this bit "and can be used for lids on traditional heat-sealing machines without modification to them" I would take as not the case.

Good thinking on the open trays though :)

Cheers,

Lifeway gets into Wal-Mart; shares soar - UPDATE 2
AFX

CHICAGO (AFX) - News that it cracked into the aisles of the world's largest retailer sent shares of Lifeway Foods soaring as much as 20% Friday.

After Thursday's closing bell, Lifeway said that it has begun to distribute its milk and soy-based 'kefir' beverages to a limited test market of up to 17 Wal-Marts in the Chicago area

While the company doesn't expect nationwide distribution at Wal-Mart anytime soon, Lifeway said it is 'hopeful this limited store distribution is successful to a point where we can then move to supply a larger number of Wal-Mart stores nationwide.'

Shares of Lifeway climbed $2.09 to close at $16.18 after touching an intraday high of $17.69. The stock hit a 52-week high of $18 and change last week after starting the year in the $7 range.

Just been thinging again about the EGM. Taken as read that it is primarily to approve the takover of Biotec. Plenty of discussion about what might be said about current trading. Little said about the other motions to authorise the issue of additional shares and increase the borrowing facility. These are actually very significant motions because they indicate the company is going places. During the early roll-out and rapid expansion phase a company needs cash: so they have the authority to place shares to raise cash and to borrow funds. I take these as very positive moves. Happy to be with a company which is expanding aggressively and confidently.

cant really see anything happening on tuesday ( other than rubber stamping ).

EWRobson - 28 Aug 2005 22:07 - 8646 of 27111

superrod: You may be right as the agenda for the EGM is pre-determined. However, it would be surprising if the opportunity is not taken for some positive updates given that that there are positive things to talk about. It may be that an up-to-date picture emerges over coffee and biscuits after the meeting; I'm sure sharesure will eb digging previously. The key question is what is the market expecting. Whether it is right or wrong I suspect the market is looking for feedback at least on the ASDA contract and Starpol sales scenario. If this is not forthcoming then what is there to underpin the sp?

Nothing will be said at the EGM except Biotec. Got the BBQ sauce ready?

Daily Telegraph 29/08/05 page 26:
Leading sector:electricals: stanelco up 272 %
since the start of the year .Hopefully this may bring attention to this company and
its potential , have a great bank holiday !!!! but i think tomorrow could be better!!!

greekman - 29 Aug 2005 09:05 - 8649 of 27111

ghengis..
Morning you beat me to it. Also the next in the Telegraph list is showing plus 99.8% up since start of the year, so it makes the Stanelco rise even more impressive. As to the EGM....Whilst agreeing that this meeting is primarily re the Biotec issue, as its to win the vote, it stands to reason that an update to sell the idea is the sensible thing to do. To sell the idea, they must sell the future.

A couple of press snippets

This looks like yet another ( diff to the one mentioned about 10 days ago ) conference for Seo to aim at.
