Yes i did email Klutey a few months ago, he is busy and not much interested in shares at the moment. If i still had his photo i would put it up for the girls but Fanta has them. (Klutey was a George clooney lookalike btw). I think he was too distracted in the Cafe to concentrate at work. I think his wife found out he was playing away at the Cafe.
:-)

Golddog - 30 Jun 2004 14:28 - 8685 of 23498

Bunny, Your wish is my command.

Message for all tennis watchers...
It's beginning to rain in the Heathrow area, so potentially could be
on its way towards Wimbledon...

optomistic - 30 Jun 2004 15:03 - 8690 of 23498

Hi Bunny, been away from site a while. Nothing much happening here of any note, things just ticking along.
Big event of the day was that I retired today, a little early but my work was becoming stressful and not very rewarding so took a step to one side and away from the madding crowd. Drinks would really be on me if the Cafe was not so virtual :-))

Golddog - 30 Jun 2004 15:09 - 8691 of 23498

Opto, You should of said earlier that you was retiring today!

Now take a seat and i will get some balloons up and a banner

Happy Retirement Opto

Drinks all round for everybody and i'm sure Bunny can rustle up a nice buffet.

optomistic - 30 Jun 2004 15:12 - 8692 of 23498

Thanks Poochy, you certainly are a whizz with this HTML

stockbunny - 30 Jun 2004 15:16 - 8693 of 23498

Well it sounds like the right decision then Opto - if you don't
need to suffer the stress why expose yourself to it and a job has to
be rewarding frankly or (again) why be there...
Good for you and I hope you have lots of things lined up to do that
you want to do now!
Poochy - whatever Opto is drinking for him please and put it on the
bunny's slate - the never-ending one that never requires settling!!

amberjane - 30 Jun 2004 15:23 - 8694 of 23498

Congrats Opto, enjoy, that is a BIG event....toast to you.....cheers

optomistic - 30 Jun 2004 15:25 - 8695 of 23498

Thanks Bunny, those slates do get very long in here, but I've got a sneaking suspission that they get wiped clean at the end of those
late night sessions :-))

optomistic - 30 Jun 2004 15:26 - 8696 of 23498

Missed you Amber, Cheers

amberjane - 30 Jun 2004 15:33 - 8697 of 23498

I was gunna say.... I'm not that small! :>)))

Orson Carter - 30 Jun 2004 15:40 - 8698 of 23498

"BC" trade - any ideas please? Not one of LSE standard codes is it?

TIA

stockbunny - 30 Jun 2004 15:46 - 8699 of 23498

Sorry sounds too intellectual for in here Orson - try todays traders
thread or on the other hand have a drink whilst you're here!
(seriously not a clue, but if anyone in here does know they'll tell you)

optomistic - 30 Jun 2004 15:49 - 8700 of 23498

Cheers again Amber. Whilst I am typing I will mention that I had a major PC problem last weekend (self induced I might add) which was resolved by a complete start again from the very beginning, format and partition disc, and reload everything, at the end I could not get streaming on Trades or Stockwatch at all.
This was resolved by downloading the Java plugin. The crux of the story is that everything works brill and is MUCH quicker than it was, apparently the new Java plugin is greatly improved. Just mention this in case others were experiencing slow movement within MAM. If you do need speeding up this could be the answer but please confirm everything with your friendly PC boffin, wouldn't like to be held responsible for any mishaps.

optomistic - 30 Jun 2004 15:50 - 8701 of 23498

Orson, Bargain conditions I believe. What it means dunno!!

Orson Carter - 30 Jun 2004 15:55 - 8702 of 23498

Right, cheers, opto. Not standard settlement I think.

Make mine an Asda Smartprice veg Cupasoup with 3 sugars and cream, please.

optomistic - 30 Jun 2004 15:58 - 8703 of 23498

Bunny, not really intellectual. All these abbrs are available by clicking on help top r/h corner of screen, select trades and they are all there
