ii still ranting like a rabid chipmunk. Even his wheel is creaking.

I believe there is to be a Sustainable Packaging Forum in Philadelphia in late October.

An ideal forum for massive announcements concerning SEO?

Hi all,

No rocketting of the S.P, I guess only 5 machines is where some people are focussing at the moment, not on Starpol 2000, which could be as big or bigger than Greenseal, oil over $70 a barrel, it's a no-brainer. Being a no-brainer, you would think iidiot would get it, he must be in negative-braincell territory .... LOL !!!!

Also ....

From CIBC Consumer Watch

Wal-Mart questions Tesco's U.K. prowess: BBC

Wal-Mart Stores wants the U.K. government to investigate how Tesco Plc

reached a 30.5% share of the supermarket sector. Tesco Plc believes the

newly released independent market research figure is "misleading" because it

does not consider all of the grocer's competitors.

This is very disappointing. Daveascroft's in formation about take-up was obviously wrong. Why are the suppliers so resistant? It seems to me that Asda and Seo are getting the benefits whilst the packagers incur the costs. Several hundred is quite obviously not going to happen at this rate,

bosley - 30 Aug 2005 13:20 - 8697 of 27111

halfamil, there are still 11 months to go on the agreement, although i do agree that it is disappointing not to have further orders. pm1 , it is right to focus a little on the greenseal orders because this is what's happening right now, this is what has pushed the sp up. greenseal, at the present time, isn't as successful, (in order numbers), as we all hoped it would be. it seems the job of pushing greenseal through onto packers has gone to martin wagner, his recruitment making complete sense now. let's hope he can complete the job and we do have several hundred conversions.

greekman - 30 Aug 2005 13:23 - 8698 of 27111

ASDA, who have committed to converting several hundred machines in the period, commenced on 28th July 2005.
Note the...'committed to several hundred machines'. Presumably there is a penalty clause if ASDA don't convert the stated number of machines. Could be they want a mass roll out and not piecemeal. The previous statement is just a guess, which I have nothing to back up, so its just a personal comment out for discussion.

niceonecyril - 30 Aug 2005 13:38 - 8699 of 27111

Greekman,
Your right in that seo can opt out of exclusive deal, on page 43 of
the brochure ref Greenseal(v) .
From another board it seems that Naturalworks product is produced from yellow corn, it is not microwaveable so requires Starpol 12000 which utilises PLA
As its major ingredient, is, so opening up a greater market.

This is now a rather frustrating stock - I want 40p NOW! For some excitement I am buying Highbury House Communications - I can't understand why you aren't jumping up and down with excitement with this one. Look at the No hobby Mags thread Epic HHO. Just to keep the obssession of SEO at bay. All the best.

moneyplus - 30 Aug 2005 14:00 - 8701 of 27111

sorry Bos and Pth--I meant ii not you!

Snip - 30 Aug 2005 14:15 - 8702 of 27111

sorry folks. I sold all my SEO holding today and bought HHO

I wish you well but my money has to work for me

stockdog - 30 Aug 2005 14:19 - 8703 of 27111

What you might call snipped in the bud which is just about to blossom again. Good luck at HHO.

belisce6 - 30 Aug 2005 14:42 - 8704 of 27111

no patience man.......it's obvious that SEO have not been putting all their efforts into the Greenseal roll-out, and that they are trying to develop their business on all fronts - perhaps in some kind of unison - rather than simply focus on one area.

they've appointed the guy from ASDA to look after the Greenseal rollout.
they've got Frogpack up and running.
they've got the Biotec deal sorted.
they've got Starpol coming of age.

It's only just begun.........

bhunt1910 - 30 Aug 2005 14:49 - 8705 of 27111

copied from another site

"Just found this on the Packworld.com website.

"Wal-Mart vp to speak at Sustainable Packaging Forum

WEB EXCLUSIVE: A Wal-Mart representative will discuss sustainable packaging at Packaging Strategies Sustainable Packaging Forum to take place October 17-19, 2005, in Philadelphia."

It's in their breaking news section so is presumably a very recent announcement. Looks like Stateside could well be right!

The global commercial director of NatureWorks will also be speaking;

"Matt Kistler, vp of product development and packaging for Sams Club, and Snehal Desai, global commercial director of NatureWorks, LLC, will deliver an extended presentation titled Driving Sustainable Packaging Through the Supply Chain: Challeneges to Innovation and Market Leadership"

I wouldn't be atall surprised if Mondini were to display their new tray lidding machine incorporating Stanelco's RF technology as well.

Mid-October could be a good time to be an SEO holder!"

OK - I need some help here.

If SEO have formed a collaboration with Nature works

.....and Natureworks has a collaboration with WalMart at the exhibition mentioned above.... am I putting 2 & 2 together and making 3,4 or 5.

"An extensive release outlining Wal-Mart and NatureWorks' sustainable packaging initiative will be available the day of the presentation"

To me it seems to imply that SEO, Natureworks and WM are all working together and they will be telling the world ABOUT what it is they are doing re reducing costusing biodegradable products etc in the supply chain at this conference in October.

..or am I being a bit dim here ???

bhunt1910 - 30 Aug 2005 16:23 - 8709 of 27111

The news was good - not what we expected - but another piece in the jig saw.

SEO is a bit like the swan - maintaining a serene outlook above the surface whilst paddling like hell beneath the surface.

There appears to be an awful lot going on at the moment - and I think our expectations are perhaps a bit optimistic. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind where this share is going - I just cannot fathom the timeframe. I have always said that I would be ecstatic with 30 by Xmas and over the moon with anything more - a view I still hold.

Oilywag - 30 Aug 2005 16:59 - 8713 of 27111

Baza & Paul

Whilst I sincerely hope that you are both right, I think that it is a little to simplistic to just assume that because Natureworks and WalMart are doing a presentation at the Exhibition in Philly that there will be an announcement about a tie up with SEO.

Can anybody confirm with a degree of certainty that the 4m trade after hours was a buy?

Hope so as that will bolster any flagging moral following a less than exhilirating RNS today in comparison to what we would hope it would be.

Having said that, I do believe that this share is going to move sharply north when that announcement comes.

The oily one
