Have read the rns and the part that stood out for me was this....

EiRx's main discovery effort aims to identify novel cancer
kinase inhibitors, and several recent third-party licensing deals indicate the
impressive valuations being placed on such products at the late preclinical
stage. These include Rigel's licensing of the aurora kinase inhibitor R763 to
Serono (total potential value of $160M, with $25M upfront), CGI's licensing of
the multi-kinase inhibitor CGI1842 to Genentech (total potential value of $500M,
with $25M upfront), Plexxikon's licensing of the PLX4032 inhibitor of mutant
B-Raf kinase to Roche (total potential value $660M, with $40M upfront) and
Piramed's licensing of its PI3-kinase inhibitor programme to Genentech (total
potential value of $230M).

I believe this recent licensing activity in EiRx's chosen field bodes well for
EiRx's future prospects, but also indicates the stage of development at which
the Company can expect to secure a significant license deal. To reach the late preclinical stage common to the recent license deals listed above, EiRx will
require a minimum of two to three years' further research and development.

Raising more funding is not a negative, if that is what is needed for further development them let them raise it we will benefit in the end.


Bioprogress recently raised funds with a placing at 50p in sept they stand at nearly 70p

Also ASM raised 26.3m and we didn't even know it was coming, the sp lost a few points now it's on the up.

I know PH has made this a joke thread through out 2006 well many of us were here before he arrived ERX is not a joke company and should not be seen as a fast buck, ERX is a serous drug company developing some very important therapies for cancer that could one day save the life of any one of our families including ourself's, that's that bit out of the way.

They have collaborations and Intellectual Property agreement with Almac Diagnostics, bioMerieux SA, future milestones and royalties that could run into millions on the successful development of ZYC300. A similar success-based milestone arrangement pertains to the Company's licensing of drug targets to OSI Pharmaceuticals also payments could come from bioMerieux and MGI Pharma Just one small payment from any one of these companies will see the sp surge. The M/Cap is ridiculously small for such a bio company with so much going on IMO erx will have a successful placing next year, a development break through or some milestones payments in 2007 Not a share to be out of Top Up on the dips.
