Golddog - 01 Jul 2004 08:58 - 8760 of 23498

Morning.

ahhh look, dotel gently sleeping on the cafe couch with curry around her lips!

Socks, It says the aircraft used varies according to venue but at most centres you will fly in a modern light aircraft such as a cessna, or a british slingsby firefly? It says your experience includes the chance to enjoy a variety of aerobatic manoeuvres and have the opportunity of piloting the aircraft yourself. I wonder if the pilot will let me land the thing? :-)

jeffmack, when you are ready for another gee gee session let me know, it's in your hands.

I shall make a brew before i pop off again.

daves dazzlers - 01 Jul 2004 09:14 - 8761 of 23498

when is this game on the cards golddog {investments}any news`s,,tea please.

stockbunny - 01 Jul 2004 12:02 - 8762 of 23498

Dave - I got your email via the BB so don't worry.

OK where's the punchbag gone?? Is it down in the cellar now?
I an totally furious this morning....
Opened curtains to see number one son's car damaged, during the
night some low-life (may the fleas of the thousand camels infest their
groins!!) has broken into his car and trying to remove his stereo system.
Broken window..wires /broken disconnected..broken dash compartment handle/lock....missed aluminium cover from petrol cap cover....neon light gone...'subs' and speakers did just survive, we assume they were disturbed before actually taking them out of the vehicle, cos they were disconnected & 'ready to go'

It just ain't funny - you've got the kids who are working and trying to
make a living and get on and then there's those who are just scum!!!

Ok sorry...I'll go and 'kill' the punchbag to try and get it out of my system,
it may not be my car but you know how it is when it's your kids..and of course
you pick up the repair bill for the window for them to try and help...

jj50 - 01 Jul 2004 12:17 - 8763 of 23498

Hi stockbunny. Sit down and I shall make you a bite of lunch. My daughter had same experience with her car damaged two weeks ago - someone had taken a key along the side of the car while it was parked in Gloucester. She had only bought it the day before and was "crushed"! Sounds like you have had a lot worse damage though so just be grateful nobody was hurt.

I am currently baking birthday cake for 17 year old son (thought they got past the cake baking age!) who gets back from geography trip to Iceland this morning. Can see my baking is out of practice - afore-mentioned cake, if launched at your burglar, would have definitely knocked him out cold! oys of being a single parent!

Cheers :-))

Fundamentalist - 01 Jul 2004 12:25 - 8764 of 23498

Bunny

very sorry to hear - maybe a nice warm glass of Red would help soften the blow.

There is a lot of scum around, but letting them get to you is part of what they want!

jj50 - 01 Jul 2004 12:28 - 8765 of 23498

Opto, forgot to say "congratulations" on your retirement. Good time to start with (hopefully) long Summer days ahead.

Golddog - 01 Jul 2004 13:23 - 8766 of 23498

Bunny, That's not good news is it! These people are scum of the earth and have no respect for us goodsouls. If i ever caught someone like that i'd ?

jj, never to old for a birthday cake, i had one for myself. (may of been bought from a shop!). I must say your kids seem to get about a bit.

Fundy, Since you are this months winner on the ftse, you have use of the Kings chair over in the corner. just keep it clean please.

For lunch i shall have a bacon butty.

Fundamentalist - 01 Jul 2004 13:26 - 8767 of 23498

GD

Thats very kind of you and what a comfy chair it is too - think ill join in on the bacon buttie too!

jj50 - 01 Jul 2004 13:39 - 8768 of 23498

May I join you gentlemen for a bacon butty please?

GD, yes, the kids get about but that's why I am permanently attached to the PC to pay for the wanderings! Good news is they always head back in this direction, so no reason to grumble. Anyway, who would look after my poochy if I headed off? :-))

Golddog - 01 Jul 2004 13:40 - 8769 of 23498
