stockbunny - 01 Jul 2004 15:34 - 8777 of 23498

True Dave absolutely true..You're in Wales aren't you?
I've got a mate in North Wales, one day I might retreat up there
going by what she says their crime rate is nothing like ours!
(Not to mention cleaner air, less cars and cheaper property!)

daves dazzlers - 01 Jul 2004 15:41 - 8778 of 23498

yes wales is a great place to live . we where going to move to isle of mann,a nother great place to live, isle of mann is like going back in time 30 years,no council tax,10%tax,but to buy a house start prices,, 200.000.ive a mate who works over there for a company called manx class {plastic windows} 16 pound a hour starting off pay, been there 4 years loves it.

stockbunny - 01 Jul 2004 15:49 - 8779 of 23498

Yes I heard it was very expensive, not quite as bad as the likes of
Jersey but still you needed a lot of capital behind you to move there.

Heard about the premium bond winner this month - won 1million after holding
17 of bonds since 1959! Great story and good luck to them - assuming they
are still alive by now - without sounding too morbid but that is a long
time ago!

daves dazzlers - 01 Jul 2004 16:18 - 8780 of 23498

i , it is along time ,where about does your mate live in wale,,i am on the coast.

stockbunny - 01 Jul 2004 16:24 - 8781 of 23498

Well forgive the spelling but not far from Bethesta? I hope that's
right, it's close anyway!

daves dazzlers - 01 Jul 2004 16:39 - 8782 of 23498

i think you mean bethesda, near snowdon.yes a great place to live property is still good value there.we take the kids to the gold mines{rivers},where you can still pan for gold , with the big old plates .the water is about a foot deep so there are no dangers with the little ones. and belive it or not there are still nuggets to be had ,they used to have gold mine championships there/prob still do,.

jeffmack - 01 Jul 2004 17:45 - 8783 of 23498

Socrates - 01 Jul 2004 18:32 - 8784 of 23498

brockman - 01 Jul 2004 19:19 - 8786 of 23498

Evening all,
Stockbunny, Any offence on your children makes you so angry, I know how much anger you can feel.
However, if my son was seventeen and driving a car any insured liberty taken with him, is just that, an insurance problem!
Chill, things could be a lot worse,
Brocks

Big Al - 01 Jul 2004 20:39 - 8787 of 23498

Just nipped in for a quick half over half-time. Looks a bit sparse so will sup sup and head back through to the telly.

Cheers!

Fundamentalist - 01 Jul 2004 20:40 - 8788 of 23498

poor old nedved.these`s greek`s are cheat`s,,,,,,,,come on ref,you get a grip.

dotel - 01 Jul 2004 20:43 - 8790 of 23498

Have you sup-supped then? I'll grab one whilst I find something else to incinerate..

snoball - 01 Jul 2004 20:48 - 8791 of 23498

It's times like this, stockbuny, when you wish you could go to the local
'Godfather' and have the problem taken car of.
Some bodies found off Beachy Head and no more problems.
But then again I suppose the favour would have to be returned sometime - usually with interest.

Golddog - 01 Jul 2004 21:26 - 8792 of 23498

Is the football still on?

Pint of Bods will do nicely.

Cannot stop only i'm in the middle of doing some paperwork of sorts, well you know writting something for someone.

Right back to the desk.
:-)
