moneyman - 19 Oct 2004 21:05

draw_chart.php?epic=goo&type=1&size=1&peGold Oil has just been floated on Aim and is involved in the exploration for oil in the Americas. The company has just signed an agreement with PetroPeru for exploration in the north of the country and also they have signed a memorandum of understanding with MAN Ferrostaal of Essen, Germany for the evaluation and feasibility study for a more than 200 mln stg petrochemical plant to be constructed in northern Peru.

Following the release of this news AFX commented that brokers believe this could potentially be huge for Gold Oil.

yes they were buys- think he is a dubai based investor- added at around 4p-4.25 we must be due some news.

scenicroute - 15 Aug 2005 21:32 - 92 of 271

Investor from Dubai, interested in Gold. He Must really know his stuff. Dubai region is filthy rich in oil. I guess hes got hold of some privileged info from friends in the oil industry who have contacts with Gold and took a gamble on this minow.

If thats the case it sounds like insider dealings to me. "Is it a crime in dubai for insider dealing", I dont know.

Either way we should know pretty soon, as any positive news reported on the rns lifting the share price even higher will point to mr Parvizi as having fishy interests.

Anyway im not complaining. another small rise will see me in big profit.

What happens October 2006 when their exclusive rights over block XI expire?

Immediate release: 6 October 2005

Northern Petroleum Plc

('Northern' or 'the Company')

Sale of Subsidiary

Northern Petroleum Plc announces that it has sold its wholly owned subsidiary,
Northern Petroleum Exploration Limited (NPEL) to Gold Oil Plc for a
consideration of 300,000.

NPEL's sole asset is, after a net profit share due to a third party, a 22.5%
net interest in the Spanish Ayoluengo field currently producing on average 110
barrels of oil per day.

Derek Musgrove, Managing Director stated: 'We have taken the view that, having
regard to the low profit margin yielded by this asset, both management and
financial resources will be more beneficially utilised in developing our new
projects in the Netherlands.

We have already committed to develop two discoveries onshore Holland for which
we estimate gross expected in-place volumes to be 102 billion cubic feet (bcf)
of gas and 20 million barrels of oil. We also have an option to commit to
develop a further three discoveries. In addition we have an outstanding
application for a production licence to develop the Papekop field which will
add a further gross expected in-place volume of 30bcf gas and 37 million
barrels of oil.

We consider the Netherlands projects to be more attractive to the Company with
considerably greater potential for our shareholders.'
