How to profit from Betting Exchanges (BEX)

How would you like to trade a market where you get large regular price swings every 10 minutes in the afternoon, seven days a week. A
market where all prices are set purely by supply and demand, few transaction costs, no middle men and you only pay commission if you win? Where you can freely act as a market maker and where you have direct market access and where you can create a spread for others to take?

Betfair has revolutionised the betting market and created an open platform for exchanging risk on sports events. This market is now viewed much more like a traditional financial risk market than an old fashioned betting market. Smart users have realised that there are huge opportunities on Betfair because they can buy and sell risk in much the same way they would in a normal financial market but without the burden of cost or the restricted access that is usually associated with traditional financial markets.

Don't understand Timmy Murphy. With Racing Demon's inclination to jump right at his fences, why on earth didn't he pull RD more to the centre of his fences? Nearly cost him the race near the end.

Agree schiff, very strange ride, especially when you take into account Henrietta Knight pulled him out of a race recently when Murphy wasnt available

Jumping to the right doesnt bode well for Cheltenham either (assuming he turns up)

last race at leopardstown, someone made a huge rick and laid a horse after 2f for 52 at 1000 - it went onto win!!!

Now thats what you call painful (though nice for the guy who tried to get 22 at 2.2 and got matched at 1000!!!)

Ceefax have a trainer each evening running the rule over his/her runners for the following day. Today it's Gary Moore's turn. He has 8 entered tomorrow.

With refreshing honesty he states, about Old Bailey in the 4.10:

"Old Bailey is a very inconsistent horse and needs everything to go right, but he is a very, very bad horse".

Personally I find that unfair as OB has won 8 out of its 56 starts (which is a pretty good percentage) and won as recently as April 2005. I think Gary might be tipping us the wink that tomorrow things might go right!

be sure to check out barcas team if youre considering backing them - missing most of their forward creativity - hence why i have avoided the game )price does look big tho)
