Golddog - 02 Jul 2004 15:46 - 8855 of 23498

I like my goldfish, just had 60 worth of m&s vouchers from it. :-)

and Dave, stay away from my special tin! there's a good lad.

:-)

coffee for me to.

stockbunny - 02 Jul 2004 15:47 - 8856 of 23498

But at least it pays its way (LLOY) whilst you have it.
Just got a few BFP been on the cheap side for a while now,
now next week I could do with selling something to balance the books!!

optomistic - 02 Jul 2004 15:48 - 8857 of 23498

Afternoon all, nice cup of tea please, just been to see Bradford and Bingley they have a Bond paying 6%, had to lock something up safe. On the way back major problems on the roads seems like the police are testing the diesel in vehicles. Ive no problem I run on parafin :-))

stockbunny - 02 Jul 2004 15:56 - 8858 of 23498

Then I can understand why you would now want a cup of tea Opto
after all parafin must play havoc with the ol'digestion (giggle!)

optomistic - 02 Jul 2004 16:05 - 8859 of 23498

You bet Bunny, it's well I dont smoke could that could present some problems. You are cheering up a bit now. Will we be having some nice lunch menus soon?

jj50 - 02 Jul 2004 16:13 - 8860 of 23498

Hi Bunny, opto and all. Cup of tea would be very welcome. Funny smell in here .... paraffin? Sold my Lloyds off in April to set against gains, so don't see it in a rosy light but the divi is good.

opto, how long have you tied money up for to get 6% - it sounds a good rate? I have a Northern Rock one expiring but they are only offering a little over 5%.

optomistic - 02 Jul 2004 16:19 - 8861 of 23498

3 year jj they do one for 2 year at a little less, they have been very busy with these bonds.

stockbunny - 02 Jul 2004 16:22 - 8862 of 23498

I'll have a look at the lunch menus from Monday Opto
Hi JJ!!! The tea pot is certainly urning its living today...
(Oh so corny!!)

Golddog - 02 Jul 2004 16:22 - 8863 of 23498

Does bunny car run on carrot juice? just asking.

jj, i think lloy is on an uptrend, but always good to take your profits and run. Anyone buying this afternoon will be in pocket by end of next week. I may regret saying that.

jj50 - 02 Jul 2004 16:23 - 8864 of 23498

Opto, thanks that's good. Nobody is being taken in by the old precipice bonds any more so I am sure fixed rate will be more in demand than ever.

Sold quite a bit this morning as am getting slightly nervous with Bin Laden's latest threats. Trouble is I am good at selling the one's in profit, it is just those at a loss that I find hard to part with!! Not a good strategy...

Cake anyone (bought, you are safe)?

daves dazzlers - 02 Jul 2004 16:27 - 8865 of 23498

more tea vicar, damm dog with that tin ? . i must get the tin,or the fish us dead.

stockbunny - 02 Jul 2004 16:28 - 8866 of 23498

The bunny car can run on anything and nothing - total economy - due to
the fact that the bunny's only car is a virtual one and not a real one!!
I really must investigate investing in First Group considering I use their
'lovely' buses most of the time..

jj50 - 02 Jul 2004 16:33 - 8867 of 23498

Saving the environment Bunny, admirable...

stockbunny - 02 Jul 2004 16:44 - 8868 of 23498

Agreed JJ - its a RED day - have a good weekend all I'm off now!!

Golddog - 02 Jul 2004 16:51 - 8869 of 23498

bbb (bye bye bunny). Never seen a bunny on a bus before!

jj, Cake!, Funny you should mention it but i have already had some thanks.

More tea would be nice.

I think i may have to hide that tin!

Big Al - 02 Jul 2004 16:58 - 8870 of 23498

Christ I need a drink!! Helluva week with emotions heading this way and that.

Firstly, the mutt strolling session to chill out and then a few "somethings".

daves dazzlers - 02 Jul 2004 16:59 - 8871 of 23498
