I'm in as well...but they only have a holding in LOGP which in turn has 20% of Barryroe....so don't expect that to move as much as PVR or LOGP....LOGP has a smallish market cap so it moves as much as PVR even though they are the 80% operators.....I'm guessing that the field is twice what it was estimated to be !...at least....

With the price of oil rocketing the amount needed to be commercial is probably a lot less (that's if oil remains sky high)...and as there is not enough in the world to go round ; it should....

I reckon,..reading through their rns again and given the fact that the Barryroe area is quite large that : they might have a major or medium size oilfield here...perhaps as large as 200 million recoverable barrels......just a guess but that would be incredible for Ireland and the companies involved......the wells drilled so far come up with the same results if not better with the latest one and are miles apart.....the sp to double for PVR, LOGP and SLE on such an outcome...?....and what with this being just the start of a whole series of wells....perhaps I'm a bit too optimistic with my figures but that's a lot of oil in the ground...even 100 million barrels would be a fantastic result...if I understand this properly the Barryroe prospect lies below the gasfield (Seven heads gas reservoir) that is of course above it....now doesn't an oilfield always have gas above it ?....and don't they flare that off...but not this time as it is being pumped to the southern Irish coast or taken off in tankers (not sure which one)......could that mean that the oilfield is a big one ?....the latest rns is very optimistic....no sign of the herd yet ?....this could be a superb discovery in the making and would put the oil industry in Ireland on the boil !.

I'm surprised that there is so little interest in this, LOGP, SLE and SEA apart from What's hot tip site......could be on the verge of a great discovery on our doorstep (Eire)...and hardly any blogs.

My mistake about SLE...sold out to PVR not long ago....anyway : has to be a rns on monday morning......I reckon.....reading through the last rns.....very upbeat about this well....what's so incredible is one well on Barryroe was drilled 20km away...20km away....incredible...has to be 100 million recoverable barrels down there at least and with modern techniques perhaps more....several small production rigs are going to be necessary.....

I reckon that oil will flow...how much, not sure ...probably will need to drill at least another well for production.....there seems to be oil there over a huge distance...2 wells, same prospect, 20km apart...that's big !....now they need a plan to get production going.....rigs cost money, a lot of it, so PVR have a lot to do....but if they can confirm something recoverable between 50 to 100 million barrels, that should be fantastic...anything more would be a huge bonus....
