A nice 'double top' pattern as I predicted a few weeks ago.

After a poor week for EVS and a trading statement the week after next it will be an interesting week next week. After seeing a bid price of 4.8p not too long ago, we finished the week at 4.21p, and today was particularly red.

I believe that - no one actually knows anything for real on the predicted trading statement. The sells could be - sheep following sheep. And it could be due to stop losses as well. How do we know that the head sheep who first sold knows what he is doing? And thirdly it could be panic seeing the share price keep going down. I must sell further before it goes lower? What was the price in early April? 6.85p.
So we are looking at a negative trading trading - who really knows.
Buyers could return in force next week.

One answer on the advfn.com thread on EVS is to stop all posts from new ID's as this is where the problem is coming from. They need to do something, otherwise these people will end up damaging the web-site. They have already.

Haystack - 09 Jul 2005 05:22 - 905 of 1643

That wouldn't solve anything as people could register a few user names a day and then when the time limit had passed they would have a continuous suply of names ready to use. It is a better system as there is continuous monitoring of posts.

It still remains wanting to go to the 4p level I predicted correctly on the last fall - the eagerly awaited trading update will be the next pointer - good and 5.5p will be a decent level - if its poor - just talk and no solid revenue - then it could push down well under 4p - still very interested in which way this will turn and watching. Nobody knows which way this will go now - only the board - and there is a move up or down pending this news - if no news update comes in this month - it will be a case of no news is bad news - I do think if it was good it would have made already - but who knows.

Has the underlying business of calling cards and cheap call routing been effected by small start ups under cutting them ? We should know soon.

Insider

I see you have posted exactly the same post on ADVFN.

I think that proves my point.

guru11 - 09 Jul 2005 11:44 - 908 of 1643

Management was not born yesterday, and I think that they have the situation well in hand. The market is obviously nervous, but does anyone "outside the board" actually know any hard trading facts?. Is the selling from punters that are getting worried and following other sheep or selling cause their price has reached their stop loss figure? I agree with insider that the price next week may well fall to 4p, but buyers should come in once again. There is obvious nervousness that the update is not going to be as good as one expects. We just have to wait and see, unless some actually knows some hard facts now on the trading front.

Haystack - 09 Jul 2005 13:42 - 909 of 1643

IDN had disappointing results recently and it has sent them heading down. Will the same happen to EVS? It is worth noting that IDN and EVS have the same house stock broker. Seymour Pierce's bullish comments of outperform didn't quite add up when IDN's results came out.

Is a disappointing trading update expected soon?

It is not acceptable to make personal remarks on this BB. It may be normal elsewhere, but not on MoneyAm.

We dont communicate with that tosser otherwise he ruins the thread.

Hey red where do you think evs will go this week?

Haystack - 10 Jul 2005 22:19 - 915 of 1643

What REDHILL means is that he doesn't like seeing negative views about EVS posted here and would like to see them suppressed. The fact is that the price is very weak at the moment and it is not clear what the reason is. EVS posters tend to have a blinkered view and cannot accept that things may not be as good as they think.

Lord B - 11 Jul 2005 07:36 - 916 of 1643

It is not surprising to see an increase in negative posting here and elsewhere
before the trading update. Someone on the other side posted that he had
seen evidence of a 'persistent seller' selling blocks of 500k and 750k over
the past two weeks.

When I checked the trades there was no evidence of this and nothing
apparently out of the ordinary. Unfortunately these people can only lie or point to
a weak share price to justify themselves. Anyone who has been in this for
a while knows how the share price behaves.

Unlike the last results (which everyone new were definitely good) there is a
degree of uncertainty in how well CCR is doing. However, most of the indicators are good and the management indicated that there should be little impact on
the cash and profitability position of the company.

If you consider all this, and that we know that the revenue from Jan/Feb/Mar was significantlyimproved from the first 4 months of H1, it is reasonable to assume that the target of 1.1M should be comfortably exceeded. Seymour Pearce indicated as
much in their note of May 16.

I think it is time to keep ones nerve and DYOR.

REDHILL - 11 Jul 2005 07:45 - 917 of 1643

capetown

Your guess is as good as mine.We may however see the trading update later this week.

RED

guru11 - 11 Jul 2005 08:51 - 918 of 1643

The week has started off more positive for EVS.
I believe that the trading statement wont be until next week,
maybe on the Monday. 4p will be the resistance point,
even if the news is only middle of the road.
I personally just think that this is just another blip,
and in time the price will recover strongly.

Even the advfn.com board has improved today,
but advfn.com do let things run their course,
instead of deleted ID's which have come from bad postings.
They need to manage their sites much better, otherwise
punters will leave their site.
