Tips & Recommendations

Druid2 - 07 Apr 2004 08:43 - 9 of 15

Morning Croc.

little woman - 07 Apr 2004 09:01 - 10 of 15

MOrning all

the PSN stop loss has kicked in - at about 50% profit in just over 3 months - plus I get to keep the dividend. Need to find another chance go go back in at a later date.

Another share's stop loss has kicked in, not held long, and the profit is tiny. I didn't really want to sell this share, but hopefully will go back in again sometime - Lots of money now in cash. I'm going to leave it in cash for a while and see what the market does, especially as I'm out most of today!

Druid2 - 07 Apr 2004 09:40 - 11 of 15

lw - you can't go wrong "taking a profit".Hope you can get back in at a lower level. (I seem to remember you selling ETL at around 70p a few months ago).

Melnibone - 07 Apr 2004 09:58 - 12 of 15

Morning all,

Just winding down for an Easter Holiday now.
Got a lot of things to do before tomorrow so won't be posting
or trading much, if at all, for a bit.

Indices are all close to yearly highs, unless we break out
higher I'm still watching for a lower swing high and a further
retracement.
Doesn't matter to me which way it heads, I'll just trade with it,
so as most folk on this board are long investors I hope it breaks
higher for you.

Watch your take profit stops near these levels, remember the market
will always be here and you can always buy them back, hopefully cheaper.
Good luck all, and enjoy your Easter Holidays, the market will still
be here when you get back with recharged batteries,so forget about
it for a while. :-))

Melnibone.

Druid2 - 07 Apr 2004 10:22 - 13 of 15

Have a nice Easter Weekend Melnibone.

little woman - 07 Apr 2004 15:35 - 14 of 15

Back now for a little while - I have a special delivery item which I can't make up my mind if I should go and collect or ask for it to be redelivered!

I'm very tempted to get back into ETL, but with all this uncertainty, I'm sitting back at the moment - waiting to see what happens

Druid2 - 07 Apr 2004 15:52 - 15 of 15

lw - yes - a lot of uncertainty with ETL at the moment.
