On the move again!!!! (TEO)

tiku - 27 Apr 2004 14:26

Hey guys - something happening in Tecteon - anybody know wot?

warranty - 09 Feb 2005 17:53 - 9 of 50

Regandjess, TEO was originally Dominion Energy an oil and gas explorer but this was floated on OFEX. TEO is the new name after splitting off, still holds a large share in DOM and consequently until the noise reduction side really takes off or they dispose of DOM it will remain in the "wrong" sector.

chumila - 10 Feb 2005 13:38 - 10 of 50

At least 10p by summer 2005

chumila - 22 Feb 2005 13:24 - 11 of 50

after all my predictions were right. I still believe TEO can cross the 10p mark by summer 2005.

Things are really starting to look good for TEO,they issued this RNS recently.

RNS Number:8604I
Tecteon PLC
22 February 2005

TECTEON PLC

Clement Clarke Communications Licence Agreement

Tecteon PLC ("Tecteon" or "the Company") (http://www.tecteon.com), a leading
provider of voice quality, comfort listening and hearing protection technologies
and solutions, announces that Clement Clarke Communications ("C3") (http://
www.c3headsets.com), a long established and a major headset manufacturer, has
licensed Tecteon's application-specific Hardware Design Platform with running
voice quality software stack.

Under the terms of the agreement, Tecteon will develop and deliver the design of
the hardware platform that interfaces to call centre communication equipment,
including headsets. The platform will run Tecteon's digital signal processing
voice quality software algorithms including Audio Shock Attenuator, Automatic
Gain Control, and Universal Tone Detector & Suppressor. The product has been
developed ahead of European Directive 2003/10/EC which becomes law in February
2006. Tecteon's solution will protect call centre operators against high levels
of acoustic shocks and average daily exposure to high sound pressure levels
received through the incoming communication channel.

Mark Lyon, Divisional Director at C3 stated:

"Clement Clarke Communications is a leading military and commercial headset
manufacturer with a large customer base, developed over sixty years. Clement
Clarke Communications views the transition to digital technology as a great
opportunity for future growth and product development. Tecteon's DSP-based voice
enhancement solutions and hearing protection technologies made them an obvious
choice as a partner."

Amir Nooral, CEO of Tecteon PLC commented:

"We have extended our capabilities so that we can offer application-specific
design platforms for our state-of-the-art technologies and algorithms and as a
result C3 has selected Tecteon to provide Digital Voice Quality and Comfort
Listening Solutions for their product. This partnership with Clement Clarke
Communications is an exciting development for us, a global player in the headset
market choosing Tecteon to enhance their market position."

This is on top of other recent contract annoncements

They have promised more this 1/4.

For more info read the very informative thread on a-d-v-f-n free bulletin board.

This could be one of the best buys this year DYOR

Up on the rise again, and a glowing endosement from CCMA Acoustic Safety Programme.

RNS Number:1602J
Tecteon PLC
01 March 2005

TECTEON PLC

Tecteon Joins the CCMA Acoustic Safety Programme

Tecteon PLC (http://www.tecteon.com), a leading provider of voice quality,
comfort listening and hearing protection technologies and solutions, announces
that it is supporting the CCMA (Call Centre Management Association) Acoustic
Safety Programme (http://www.acousticshock.org). The Acoustic Safety Programme
has been put in place to bring about the necessary health & safety improvements
to protect the UK's 1 million call centre operators from the risks associated
with acoustic shock, and to safeguard the value of this significant employment
sector. The programme is supported by the DTI, TUC, CWU and HSE, amongst others,
and is sponsored by several leading industry parties.

Tecteon is heavily focused on delivering technically challenging solutions to
protect call centre operators against acoustic shock and average daily noise
exposure levels and regards the acoustic safety programme as crucial to the
operatives' well-being.

Amir Nooral, CEO of Tecteon commented:

"We fully support the objectives of this vital programme and its aim to ensure
the safety of call centre operators. The programme's achievement thus far in
bringing together key parties from the Industry, Unions, Government agencies and
technology providers is quite remarkable. The programme has outlined
comprehensive plans on raising awareness, training and addressing the serious
issues concerning acoustic shock and its consequences to call centre employees,
whom represent the largest employment sector in the UK. Tecteon is already
working closely with its existing partners to address these challenges; and we
are eager to start working with other sponsors of this Program to better
understand and better address the issues of acoustic shock and its adverse
effects on call centre operators."

David Lilly, Project Director, the CCMA Acoustic Safety Programme said:

"The CCMA Acoustic Safety Programme and its Government and Industry supporters
are delighted to have the participation and support of Tecteon PLC. This
Public-Private Initiative is aimed at reducing the proven and serious risks
faced by operators in call centres from the symptoms caused by acoustic shocks
and noise interference. With the participation of Tecteon PLC alongside the
Programme's other market leading headset & desktop technology, occupational
health and learning providers, we can now claim that the Acoustic Safety
Programme presents the World's first combined solution and opportunity for
employers to gain accurate knowledge on the elimination and treatment of the
causes and effects of acoustic shock and noise interference to operators in the
call centre environment."

Keith Broughton, Program Chairmen and former HM Principal Specialist Inspector
(Noise & Vibration) HSE, observed:

"Tecteon's acoustic shock solution is the most advanced protection technology we
have seen on the market to-date. Of equal importance is Tecteon's aim to ensure
that their product remains compatible with all appropriate call centre operator
headset and desktop prevention and monitoring device products. Tecteon PLC has
demonstrated the merits of their groundbreaking advancements in digital
acoustics signal processing and we are delighted to be able to introduce their
safety and enhancement products to the UK market as an integral part of our
Acoustic Safety Programme solution."

Qstik, believe it has come up with something unique. "Our product significantly enhances people's mobile experience as it takes out background noise, leaving only speech," he says. "If I'm talking to someone in a busy street with lots of commotion, the Qstik technology in the Bluetooth headset will automatically filter out the traffic noises and passing chatter. It also cancels any background noise surrounding the person receiving the call. We believe no other device can demonstrate this level of sophistication."
