thestatusquo - 15 Jun 2004 15:25 - 9 of 57

LOL!!!!

Big Al, perhaps we should all just share our possessions and knock this investing crap on the head!?!

I'm poor, so it would work for me!!

Dil - 15 Jun 2004 15:32 - 10 of 57

If I say xyz is going to 500p when the price is 1000p and over time it does , then those that hold xyz will class me as a deramper ..... for being correct !!!

Big Al - 15 Jun 2004 15:35 - 11 of 57

De-rampers (if that is a reasonmable name for them) are a good antidote to rampers.

SueHelen - 15 Jun 2004 15:43 - 14 of 57

Is that vice-versa as well....rampers are a good antidote to de-rampers.

ajren - 15 Jun 2004 15:46 - 15 of 57

Rampers extract money from naive investors. In my opinion,99 per cent of the
people on the board are not ruthless and give honest opinions based on their
interpretation of information.

SueHelen - 15 Jun 2004 15:48 - 17 of 57

I think ADVFN needs some samaritans to stop the "rampers that extract money from naive investors".

ajren - 15 Jun 2004 15:50 - 18 of 57

SueHelen,
Do you ramp ?
rgds aj

Big Al - 15 Jun 2004 15:50 - 19 of 57

SH - indeed.

The market is a 2-way street as we know. Why not take advantage of it?

ajren - I do agree with post 14. Most people are honest in their opinions. Wher the trouble often lies is when some lose money. They then look for any excuse other than the truth, which is usually they made a bad trade or investment. We've all done it and should be honest with ourselves when we do. That's the only way to lasting success in this game.

SueHelen,
Do you ramp ?

SueHelen - 15 Jun 2004 15:53 - 21 of 57

ajren...that is a cynical way to put it...I do have my own feeling that you started your thread on RAMPERS today aimed at myself. Though I do take your opinions with a pinch of salt.

ajren - 15 Jun 2004 15:55 - 22 of 57

Why would I aim at you ?Do you ramp or do you not ramp ?

thestatusquo - 15 Jun 2004 15:55 - 23 of 57

We're all one big happy family really guys!

And besides this is all wonderful theatre! We're all just actors delivering our lines on the big stock market stage! Sometimes to rapturous applause, other times going down like a fart in a spacesuit. A tragedy some days, a comedy the next.

Ahhhhhhhhh! Bring me my tablets nurse!

ajren - 15 Jun 2004 15:57 - 24 of 57

Sue Helen,
Please answer the question i.e.Do you ramp ?
rgds aj

Dil - 15 Jun 2004 15:57 - 25 of 57

Well I think BPRG is going to 50p , is that a deramp ?

SueHelen - 15 Jun 2004 15:58 - 26 of 57

So any particular reason at putting that question to myself ajren?

Em let's see :

BGY : Been 150% up
CWV : Been 200% up
CFP : Been 150% up
AFG : Been 150% up
PMD : Been 150% up
MDW : Been 100% up
CDN : Been 45% up

oohh I say I must have incredible powers to have got those stocks to rise by that much in the last 6 months.

Big Al - 15 Jun 2004 15:59 - 27 of 57

Not very ambitious Dil! ;-0
