Traders Thread Thursday 29th July 2004 (CROC)

Morning all.

Melnibone - 29 Jul 2004 11:31 - 10 of 16

Morning all,

Having a break from the flooring today.
My knees sound like a couple of dry, crackling, twigs. :-(

Nice bounce this morning, index and futures above the important
4400 level. If the data is good today, and the US pushes on up
to attack the 200Ma level from underneath, we can say that the range
bottom has held and we're going to see if we can break above the
Indices 200Ma's and have another looksee at where we want to put in the next
high. Don't like these gaps we're leaving behind, but they won't stop
a short term push higher.

Took the MRW profit when it stalled up agaist the 180p resistance. Will
look to buy again on weakness, if the Indices don't look like tanking,
or buy if it turns the 180p from resistance to support and the Indices
look like having another crack at a high.

Going to watch the US open after the 1330 jobs data, and decide whether
to long some stocks or short some Indices according to what it does.

Melnibone.

Didn't post much today.

Not a good day for me at all, at least on paper. Despite the FTSE up over 1%, my holdings pulled back, which was a real p****r.

MNA shone FTC looks shakey again, but were completely outclassed by ASC and AQP.No big damage, but bloody annoying on a big up day.

Cheers,
Peeved of oop north!
;-)

How you doing? 260p was rumoured last year too. I seem to remember taking a ride up there in October from about 206p and very nice it was too. ;-))))
