Having dipped my toe into the murky waters of share dealing i am now regretting my first purchase (Jarvis) on the thoughts of things can only get better and some director share dealing i brought 200 worth at 1.12 a share.Does any one think Jarvis have got a hope in hell of pulling through or should i sell ?.

Sorry to interrupt your banter with dave, but have a look at the ASC thread. We have a competition running to see which share(s) will double in price before ASC. You might find some useful suggestions.

Wev'e all been there, if anyone tells you they went straight fron rags to riches on the stockmarket, be very, very sceptical.
Here is what I would do if I were you, its what I did, but remember that you are not me.
1) Point your browser at http://www.trendsignal.com
They use very simple technical analysis, in escence :- If it goes up buy it. If it goes down sell it. The service is free, (so far).
2) Get yourself a spread betting account and put in it an ammount of money you can afford to lose. Always set a stop order, placed so that on any particular deal you will not lose more than 2% of your fund.
You will make losses, but over time they will be far outweighed by the gains.
Best of luck
