Oystertec name change (AFC)

stubax - 03 Jun 2005 14:19

I've just updated my watchlist, as today Oystertec (OYS) becomes Advanced Fluid Connections (AFC).
Will a name change still stop Paul 'The Plummer's' baby from going down the bog ?

Andy

I had been thinking about HHO since Mckenzie started to mop up shares and only decided last night to take the plunge, so missed the initial surge. I have to be honest though and state that I have no idea where this it's going to go tomorrow. I'm going to move my stop up and at least I should be in a no lose situation. But I haven't sold yet, so I guess I really feel that it will continue to rise.

If I was out, I think I would have a small punt, just in case it keeps going North, I gather the company is worth more than the current SP, so the upside seems to outweigh the down. Might be worth seeing how the first 30 mins of tomorrow morning pans out.

I have often thought that there is nothing left in a surge and watched it rise, on the other hand I've dived in and watched the sod go down.

Decisions, decisions.

Good luck mate

Pete

PS Apolgies to all of the other non-existant AFC readers for being off thread!!
Lol :-))

Not a problem Pete, thanks for the tip.
In the meantime I'll keep posting to myself on AFC and watch this hit 20p for 100% return on average buys. The threads I contribute to or start which don't spark up much interest do the best for me long-term as they stay un-noticed until results bring people in and I end up making a good wedge. Did it on IDS, expect to do it on AFC and also with CCT where I have started a thread but nobody seems interested.

I'm interested Andy,
I bought and sold just like you did....snap!

As for wanting to get back in....indeed.
I still think this organisation with its strategy and products could go well.
Need to buy me thinks!

Its moving pretty fast now, 50% in a few weeks but as the story has not really changed, just lost momentum earlier this year then I expect this to hit 20p easily and then back to the 25-30p range again if management can keep it on track.
They've put their money so maybe things are starting to take a healthy shape.
