The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

SM will know what the other bid was and he will also know that the new BOD have their shares at c 70p - so I think he would have to be confident that he could raise the cash to beat those levels.
As such this a buy at up to 70p no question

He also knows he's got until end of year at most before A'tek can come back in (6 months), so prob wants to get things sorted without their noses poking around and bumping SP up.

I think many share holders in the current environment would accept anthing in advance of 80p. I think this is too low, but would probably swallow my pride and accept.
What I would like to know is what is the % sizes of the various large holders.
I have tried to get the various directors etc. holds
TD Waterhouse 7.10 %
Barclays PLC 7.04 %
Melmed Holding AG 5.00 %
HSDL Nominees Ltd 4.30 %
Self Trade UK Nominees Limited 3.70 %
And Muncaster holding about 9%
If these holdings are as stated they would have difficulty in taking over against the ordinary punters' wishes.

Steve Martin, Chief Development Officer, said
"Over the last six months the Company has progressed significantly. Meldex is concentrating its efforts on those programmes that offer
the best returns on investment and near term revenue generation. Projects such as DBP167 offer a substantial return and will drive
significant revenues for the future. Projects that do not fulfil our sales and marketing criteria will be out-licensed to third parties
generating both development and manufacturing revenue."
So hands up all those who think SM will get away with the Co on the cheap!
also, sm bought at 48p a year ago and things r vastly better since then.
sp now up to 47p.
and finally mdx have fluked i think the 1st day of a bear market RALLY! I EXPECT rally up to 5500-5700.......so next few weeks is best time for his to appen.....plus TU coming up which will knock sp up a lot too

Simply, MMs know how many shares are 'short', and know these will have to be bought back prior to any offer talks. So, no chance of us Mr Nobody's buying anything worth having until positions are levelled out... not even if I offer to pay in Euros :-)
Last time short postions were annulled, SP went over 60p, so agree that will be hit very quickly....

Now at 47p, but still less than half the offer price, this is a no-brainer.
Like shares in IEC this is a chance for ordinary people to make money.
Make the most of this week, when the rest are on holiday!

Oh I've been in out in out shake it all about forever and a day tabby but never for more than a couple of weeks at most based on chart and only lost money on them once I think.
Buy signal yesterday at 34.5p stop loss 30p. My guess is the signal was triggered by "insiders" buying ahead of this mornings announcement. Stop loss now raised to 39.75p just belows todays low.
I'll keep you informed but don't expect to be in them this time next week.
