PVR - Providence Resources - The Irish Explorer (PVR)

hermana - 08 Mar 2012 11:47 - 902 of 1263

A bit calmer today as interminable wait for news continues...

required field - 09 Mar 2012 18:15 - 903 of 1263

My mistake about SLE...sold out to PVR not long ago....anyway : has to be a rns on monday morning......I reckon.....reading through the last rns.....very upbeat about this well....what's so incredible is one well on Barryroe was drilled 20km away...20km away....incredible...has to be 100 million recoverable barrels down there at least and with modern techniques perhaps more....several small production rigs are going to be necessary.....

mbugger - 09 Mar 2012 20:50 - 904 of 1263

Iseq was up 88 points on Thurs.,on Greek debt swap news, yet PVR share price going no where at present, are we sure oil will flow, light oil,any views.

required field - 10 Mar 2012 10:29 - 905 of 1263

I reckon that oil will flow...how much, not sure ...probably will need to drill at least another well for production.....there seems to be oil there over a huge distance...2 wells, same prospect, 20km apart...that's big !....now they need a plan to get production going.....rigs cost money, a lot of it, so PVR have a lot to do....but if they can confirm something recoverable between 50 to 100 million barrels, that should be fantastic...anything more would be a huge bonus....

required field - 11 Mar 2012 12:24 - 906 of 1263

Perhaps a rns tomorrow morning......time to unlock some value for shareholders here.....and develop this Barryroe prospect.....

required field - 12 Mar 2012 09:30 - 907 of 1263

Still no sign of news.....hope they get this right....

mbugger - 12 Mar 2012 10:02 - 908 of 1263

No news this week, cheltenham horse racing the priority,i guess.

Slowboat to RNs here...

mbugger - 12 Mar 2012 20:36 - 910 of 1263

Just wondering is there some problem getting oil to flow way under a gas resorvoir above the oil,and is a water injection process a way of stimulating oil to flow or is there some other problem like only gas down there as well.

required field - 12 Mar 2012 20:58 - 911 of 1263

They did say 10 days testing.....so with the time necessary to evaluate things......this is not just a one trick poney either, this is just the start of a big drilling campaign...check out the operations drilling map on their website : impressive n'est ce pas ?.....

hermana - 13 Mar 2012 12:15 - 912 of 1263

Co today says flowtesting ongoing. What's another week?

hermana - 13 Mar 2012 15:28 - 913 of 1263

Tilting upwards now!

required field - 14 Mar 2012 08:29 - 914 of 1263

And a little bit of volume here.....all of a 100000 shares traded ....woweeee....(sounds better with an irish accent)...

hermana - 14 Mar 2012 10:50 - 915 of 1263

And the fun finally hits town...

required field - 14 Mar 2012 11:58 - 916 of 1263

RNS is imminent I guess, and by the look of things it might be positive.....I could not believe how far apart the wells are !.....there just has be a fair amount of oil down there and it will need very modern techniques to get it from Barryroe to a terminal on the mainland.....does not come cheap in the rough waters of the atlantic but all signs are that the deposit is quite large ....

hermana - 14 Mar 2012 12:10 - 917 of 1263

RQ,We'll soon how big Barryroe is.

required field - 14 Mar 2012 12:18 - 918 of 1263

I bet that another well downdip (as they say) might be necessary.....for production purposes....all in all : it could be good news for the irish oil industry...fingers crossed....
