Just wondering is there some problem getting oil to flow way under a gas resorvoir above the oil,and is a water injection process a way of stimulating oil to flow or is there some other problem like only gas down there as well.

They did say 10 days testing.....so with the time necessary to evaluate things......this is not just a one trick poney either, this is just the start of a big drilling campaign...check out the operations drilling map on their website : impressive n'est ce pas ?.....

hermana - 13 Mar 2012 12:15 - 912 of 1263

Co today says flowtesting ongoing. What's another week?

hermana - 13 Mar 2012 15:28 - 913 of 1263

And a little bit of volume here.....all of a 100000 shares traded ....woweeee....(sounds better with an irish accent)...

hermana - 14 Mar 2012 10:50 - 915 of 1263

And the fun finally hits town...

RNS is imminent I guess, and by the look of things it might be positive.....I could not believe how far apart the wells are !.....there just has be a fair amount of oil down there and it will need very modern techniques to get it from Barryroe to a terminal on the mainland.....does not come cheap in the rough waters of the atlantic but all signs are that the deposit is quite large ....

hermana - 14 Mar 2012 12:10 - 917 of 1263

RQ,We'll soon how big Barryroe is.

I bet that another well downdip (as they say) might be necessary.....for production purposes....all in all : it could be good news for the irish oil industry...fingers crossed....

Some of it yes.....but not all as this is a first for Eire and must mean a hell of a lot to them, the fact is that if this is positive then the big boys from the USA will pour capital into the irish oil industry and there are dozens of prospects waiting to be drilled.....another oil province reborn...

If we get a positive update.....if...., then I reckon that if they decide to drill downdip and if (again)....they get an even bigger payzone, then the recoverable reserves should double !....too much guesswork perhaps.....just hoping that we are not going to be disappointed but the signs look favourable, if some of the sources are reliable.

grevis2 - 14 Mar 2012 13:22 - 925 of 1263

Seems to be going well!
