Couldn't find any really cold trifle, Olddog, but I've left you a pot of vanilla ice cream with a gooey chocolate ripple bit, fresh from the freezer.

Olddog - 24 Mar 2003 17:03 - 912 of 23498

Vasey

Thanks

Even Cold custard would do the trick

I see the DJ is being marched down. Suppose it was a one day wonder so that the futures & options people came out with the right answer. Markets ? laugh.

8 Ball - 24 Mar 2003 19:02 - 913 of 23498

Welcome back Olddog.

I would go along with Hil on todays fall, I think it will reflect the war for the next couple of weeks.

Olddog.. Do you use that ID on Ample(iii) as I came across an Olddog on the PAP page.

Golddog - 24 Mar 2003 19:31 - 914 of 23498

littlewoman, Thankyou for being so concerned about my whereabouts, it's nice to know someone cares, i mean i could of been trapped under my dog basket or stuck with my head in the cat flap or something! However im usually off on little adventures and sometimes dont get back for hours or even days, but i always do come back at some stage if only to grab a Bods from the bar. Anyway sounds like you had a nice holiday and thankyou for the postcard which is now displayed above the tea room fire place next to Hilarys boots.

Olddog, Nice to see you back. Next time you go off like that im afraid we will have to get you on a lead and let Vasey take you for a walk so you dont get lost. If your very lucky she will give you a nice hot bath scrub after walkies, i highly recommend them!

Littlewillie, Is there anywhere you have not been too?

:-)

Right time for a Bods.

Ursidae - 25 Mar 2003 14:03 - 915 of 23498

GD, anytime's the right time for a Bods. Think I'll join you .... mmmm, nice!

Olddog - 25 Mar 2003 18:13 - 916 of 23498

8 Ball, 'fraid thats me on iii. Over there I have the hots for Tamara ( de Lempicka ) and 'thelittleprincess' ( its a sad case of anything in a skirt - what can you expect from an olddog ? ) Everything else on iii is tosh :)

GD, Glad youre happy to stick with Bods and dont want any of the free dog bickies

I've been wondering where certain Banks stand with regard to network security & the Law. ISPs having to keep records of internet activity doesnt fit in very well with Banks using links tunnelled over the internet for some of their own interoffice data transmission.

My guess is that they are damned if they do & damned if they dont. Should bring a whole new lease of life to leased lines.

Suppose I'm the only old fogey thats sad to see ICI in such a state ?

vasey - 25 Mar 2003 18:15 - 917 of 23498

Good evening Olddog: I hope the paws are recovering. Feel free to relax on the sofa. The floor is a bit hard on the pads, I expect. Glass of wine, or something stronger?

Socrates - 25 Mar 2003 18:32 - 918 of 23498

vasey
Make mine tea please.

8 Ball - 25 Mar 2003 19:12 - 919 of 23498

Good evening all.............

That makes two of us then Olddog.

The amount of posts on iii has fallen a lot in the last year.
I tend to pop in when researching stocks that are new to me, hence I come across you on PAP.
Do you still hold any PAP? I was checking out Betting/gambling companies and they came out as my Favorite.

Golddog - 25 Mar 2003 19:39 - 920 of 23498

Ursidae, Oh goody another Bods lover! Welcome to the Bods club. In joining this club i must toast your membership by opening a can right now......psssssssst! ah. :-)

Hello all, sorry I'm late but I've been busy. Quiet in here lately isn't it? Might be something to do with GD and his ball!

Ursidae - 26 Mar 2003 14:19 - 926 of 23498

Golddog, thanks for the membership! I feel honoured to have been admitted without even being proposed and seconded. I promise to do my best to consume with vigour and gusto at all opportunities, but.......

Whilst not wishing to be expelled from the club so soon after becoming a member, I feel that I ought to come clean and admit to occasional dalliances with Stella. I do hope that I have not caused any offence to yourself and other members by admitting to my fondness of the lovely Stella.

Bottoms up!

Olddog - 26 Mar 2003 16:17 - 927 of 23498

8 Ball, I'm still in PAP. As I see it its run by old Pros and is starting from a small base so should have lots of growth potential. Being mostly a Paddy company does mean that its prudent to discount the unexpected. To be fair, its very much a case of so far so good.

I'm claiming a Doggie birthday ( one of seven this 'year' ) you are all invited to a glass of champers at six.

( Those who prefer tea and trifle should bring their own )

Socrates - 26 Mar 2003 16:57 - 928 of 23498

Bubbly at six! Can't wait that long, I'll open a bottle or two now. Vasey will be attracted immediately, never fails.

This_is_me - 26 Mar 2003 18:48 - 929 of 23498

greetimgs!

Anything new on the menu for mothers day?

When Me asked the children what they intended to do for mother's day they replied' "Well you could..." I didn't let them go any further - she is not Me mother!

Golddog - 26 Mar 2003 20:51 - 930 of 23498

Ursidae, Stella is alright i suppose but strictly speaking lager makes me sick! I remember my recent Kronnenberg disaster all too well!!. So i stick to the bitters and wines, and odd drop of whiskey or vodka.
