How to profit from Betting Exchanges (BEX)

How would you like to trade a market where you get large regular price swings every 10 minutes in the afternoon, seven days a week. A
market where all prices are set purely by supply and demand, few transaction costs, no middle men and you only pay commission if you win? Where you can freely act as a market maker and where you have direct market access and where you can create a spread for others to take?

Betfair has revolutionised the betting market and created an open platform for exchanging risk on sports events. This market is now viewed much more like a traditional financial risk market than an old fashioned betting market. Smart users have realised that there are huge opportunities on Betfair because they can buy and sell risk in much the same way they would in a normal financial market but without the burden of cost or the restricted access that is usually associated with traditional financial markets.

Out! Another welcoming wicket.

Its also a lot harder to score quickly in a test than a one dayer as the legside wide and fielding restrictions dont apply, 1.1 was a truly huge value play

Greened up at 1.04 ... got to go out.

That was fun :-)

tendulkar will not do anything rash for 7 or 8 overs, will just try to give dhoni the strike, he will prob still have license to hit.

Fundamentalist - 05 Mar 2006 11:05 - 9130 of 10502

Then again an Eng win is no good either

compoundup - 05 Mar 2006 11:34 - 9142 of 10502

England's turn for the price to come in :-))

Fundamentalist - 05 Mar 2006 11:34 - 9143 of 10502

England gonna have to bring the spinners on if they want to try and win this as the umps will offer the light soon with the quicks on, i think that

WOODIE - 05 Mar 2006 11:34 - 9144 of 10502

gone in for more at 1.05 after that wicket

Fundamentalist - 05 Mar 2006 11:35 - 9145 of 10502

And i hoovered up the 1.04 the draw :-)
