dd,
I feel your pain, Figo's effort worth a goal, but in truth they haven't really done enough.

STORMCALLER - 04 Jul 2004 21:41 - 9161 of 23498

dd,
It's all over! we've seen the back of it. Hasn't been a great tournament in my view. Bottom line of course, if the Greek team are the best Europe can offer, start getting your bets on now as to which South American team will win the next world cup!

jj50 - 04 Jul 2004 22:37 - 9165 of 23498

Kebabs all round ..

jj50 - 04 Jul 2004 22:40 - 9166 of 23498

sww. I work the same system ..XP + Norton (which I download) and take all Windows updates and no problems.

Glass of wine would be nice. Some work to do before it gets too late.

STORMCALLER - 04 Jul 2004 22:47 - 9167 of 23498

jj50,
It is too late for work, why do we never learn?
Enjoy your wine

jj50 - 04 Jul 2004 22:50 - 9168 of 23498

Thank you SC. Wine is very good if not up to MMs standards. Oops - just got nail varnish stuck on my keyboard.... never mind. Have busy morning ahead so trying to work out what needs to be done before I head out. You seem to have been busy heading all over Britain causing havoc ..

jj50 - 04 Jul 2004 22:54 - 9169 of 23498

... too many Guiness's? Does that affect your storm stirring up capacity?

STORMCALLER - 04 Jul 2004 23:01 - 9170 of 23498

jj50,
Lousy tpyer more like....

STORMCALLER - 04 Jul 2004 23:02 - 9171 of 23498

And it must have been in imposter, I haven't moved all day!

jj50 - 04 Jul 2004 23:03 - 9172 of 23498

Thought you would have some sort of alien helper to type for you?

jj50 - 04 Jul 2004 23:04 - 9173 of 23498

Sorry to malign you, must have been an alias..do forgive me.

STORMCALLER - 04 Jul 2004 23:10 - 9174 of 23498

I am used to being maligned, especially on this subject, but the beauty of thought behind the inadequate dexterity is some recompense.

jj50 - 04 Jul 2004 23:17 - 9175 of 23498

Perhaps I have misinterpreted your name and your role in life is to keep us safe by calling away storms, wrapping a blanket of security and warmth around all those fortunate enough to cross your path?

Do allow me to buy you a drink.

Golddog - 04 Jul 2004 23:18 - 9176 of 23498

just a quick pop in before i pop into basket!

dd, What's this about drinking fantasy beer here! i shall have a word with the management - it should be real!

actually when i post that i'm drinking a certian drink or eating a certain food then i am actually sitting here drinking or eating that thing! So when i say i'm drinking a Bods - you know i really am.

Now if you don't mind i must finish this octopuss bread roll before i sleep.

poochy wink ;-)
night night.

MightyMicro - 04 Jul 2004 23:18 - 9177 of 23498

Good evening, one and all. Time to break out a fine Californian, I think (wine, that is).

For the red, let's go for Niebaum-Coppola's Diamond Zinfandel, goes well with the bread and cheese available from the famous nearby Oakville Grocery store. Francis Ford Coppola restored an old vineyard and now produces some of the Napa's finest wines. Understanding my fondness for his products, Mr Coppola has obligingly opened a wine bar and restaurant a mere five minute's amble fom my office in Palo Alto. Sadly, I am usually beaten to my favourite table by a Mr Jobs of Apple, who gets first pick for some reason that I can't fathom.

dotel - 04 Jul 2004 23:21 - 9178 of 23498

..and it's good evening from me too

STORMCALLER - 04 Jul 2004 23:21 - 9179 of 23498

jj50,
I would be most honoured, my intentions are always honourable of course, doesn't stop me getting booted off the site though, hence tardy reply.
