slightly strange, the market reaction to today's announcement, as carclo is up while seo is static. also, there doesn't seem to be any volume.

With a market cap of this region though Bosley, its gonna take a BIG RNS to shift the SP no? I agree I'm excited with today's announcement but as Paul said above, it is kind of in development so money is still a while off... The next movement is surely going to be ASDA machine orders or a Walmart contract.

Hi All,
Hopefully we will see that big name pharma (Cardinal ?) sign a heads of agreement to develop these new capsules, and bprg are sunk again .... LOL !!!!
Also I e-mailed the Northern Foods and Ferndale Foods news to Howard, nothing back from him yet, but I think an RNS will be forthcoming on that front fairly soon, as the next Greenseal and Starpol announcement.
The capsule news will take a while to sink in, but the potential is the same or better than that which drove the price up a few years ago (as per the chart below) when the Ingel announcements came out, so we could see latent buying this week as the news travels around. Also USA buyers might see more potential in the capsules, than UK investors, so keep an eye from 2:30pm onwards, especially if SEO do another excellent Business Wire press release :)
Cheers,
PM

bugz, i think you are getting mixed up between paul, king kong and myself. an easy mistake to make as we are all big , hairy beasts that like to terrify helpless, chained-up, sacrificial women.... (chrissie take note!).
paul, just to clarify, has the jv with carclo nowt to do with ingel and the cc?

Bosley Hi,
The Carlco JV has definately nothing to do with Ingel or RF :)
Here's the bits from my website ....

Carclo and Aquasol jointly own a patent for drug capsules
Page 1, Annual Report, 31 March 2004, Carclo plc, Registered Office: Ploughland House PO Box 14, 62 George Street Wakefield WF1 1ZF T +44 (0) 1924 330500 F +44 (0) 1924 339900 W www.carclo-plc.com Einvestorrelations@carclo-plc.com .... For a number of years Carclos medical operation has been pioneering the use of water soluble polymers in fine tolerance injection moulded applications. Since 1999 we have been working with Aquasol Ltd, an intellectual property company specialising in water soluble polymers and recently acquired by Stanelco plc. Carclo and Aquasol jointly own a patent for drug capsules manufactured by injection moulding from water soluble polymers. The capsule has unique features which provide improved control over the release of drugs and tamper evident protection. In collaboration with Stanelco plc we now plan to increase our market and business development resources on this important innovation.

I would like to see a rns from SEO saying Northern foods are useing Greenseal, with Asda dumping Ferndale the company that did the trials and if Northern Foods are not useing Greenseal then this would be very bad news for SEO and for us holders of SEO shares.

Carclo and Stanelco combine to replace gelatine capsules
By Julie Bieles 12/09/2005
The pair have developed a starch-based polymer for edible applications.
12 September 2005 UK companies Stanelco and Carclo have developed a starch-based hardshell capsule for edible applications including dietary supplements and pharmaceutical uses.
Carclo Technical Plastics has manufactured the capsules using a polymer blend developed by Stanelco subsidiaries Adept Polymers and Biotec Holding Group. The capsules are being developed as an economically viable alternative to gelatine.
Work to bring the new hardshell technology to market is ongoing, said Stanelco. The starch-based material and the manufacturing process could lead to lower production costs than for gelatine capsules, it said.
Other advantages of the starch-based capsules include greater heat and humidity resistance, and easier filling, according to the company.

Dormar Hi,
The capsule halves are injection moulded, and are then welded together using laser. Check the details in the pdf from the link in my previous post :)

Auto Hi,
There will be a 1 party soon, you can easily convince yourself, just read Drivers research page(click his house icon), or the last 12 months of Stanelco RNS's and Business Wire's, or the EVO or KBC notes, or the lemminginvestor, RHPS, Trendwatch, Investors Chronicle, and Shares Mag tips, or even my website, which is nearly at 10,000 visits since March 2005 :)

Hi /Paul
Been to your website several times, very imformative it is to, with this product being so good, and ASDA having a years head start i would have thought they would have had more M/C converted by now as it benifits the supplyer as well as them, as i said earlier hope Northern Foods are going to use greenseal
