new millennium resources (NML)

LEEWINK - 28 Mar 2004 15:45

NML is due its interrim results now, last year it was the 28th of this month.

They are setting up a new site to explore/research/analyse and all the equipment to do this should be on site now, and drilling should start soon, all this extra news should be covered in the interims.

does anyone have any further positive views on this company ??

safe hands - 19 Jun 2005 00:17 - 918 of 1909

Andy, I don't post on advfn... am quite new to here

I am sorry about my behaviour, but I sold these bloody things at a big loss last week. To get rid of 150k shares my broker went to 4 market makers. No one wants stock.

I bet i could count the people on one hand that have made money on this stock.

Who knows, a positive rns may change this, but can't see this... what you think??

Andy - 19 Jun 2005 00:28 - 919 of 1909

safe hands,

Sorry to hear about your loss.

NML are due to report progress to date in June, but I think this will be delayed, due to the late comencement of mining.

So no, I don't expect an early RNS to be honest.

Safe hands -

I can understand your animosity towards the company. You bought the stock thinking it was going to make you a lot of money. You have now got fed up and sold at a loss. You have my commiserations.

I will agree completely that there have been unconscionable delays in virtually every aspect of the setting-up of the C9 operation. They are now running approximately 12-14 months behind their original schedule. Though that schedule was hopelessly optimistic - you don't acquire a project in December and expect to have it up and running within 4-5 months. It just doesn't happen! There have been at least two changes of plan regarding equipment, culminating in the acquisition of the Badenhorst fleet and the Badenhorsts themselves. The disruption in site preparation and sampling caused by the rains should have been predicted - but it was not. The extent of infrastructure required should have been predicted - but it was not.

But none of the foregoing makes the company a "con".

In their favour they have successfully - at last - completed a large amount of infrastructure construction, finalised and commissioned the plant, and received the go-ahead from Endiama to commence production.

You say "it won't be the shareholders that will benefit".

If, as you allege, this company is a con, who, in your opinion, WOULD benefit? Who do you think has ripped you off?

takahe - 19 Jun 2005 14:21 - 921 of 1909

Andy..I prefer to use the same name , too..but my usual one was already taken so I had to choose another. Is that a crime?
Sorry..safe hands..I thought you were Broker200. I see you run a thread here on Broker Network Holdings, which is one of his favourites.
Andy..no, it wasn't my rollover but I'm pretty sure I know whose it is, due to a situation running on longer than expected.
PS A takahe is a New Zealand Bird!

safe hands - 19 Jun 2005 19:05 - 922 of 1909

Yes I do hold broker network holdings... I have had these for a while and think they are very good. I have only posted on here about 5 times, not sure who the other fellow is you are talking about.

I held the NML poo shares for over a year and a half and I think there are better plays elsewhere... not going anywhere in a hurry in my honest opinion.

takahe - 19 Jun 2005 20:41 - 923 of 1909

safe hands..odd time to come out of them now when they must surely be nearer to updating the market than they were a month ago.
I have some BNH but have not found them good so far

ASMITH2 - 20 Jun 2005 12:26 - 924 of 1909

A very wise move imo ,with the mms only too happy to sell stock at 3.75p they know that the seller will happily keep feeding them stock at 3pish to fill these buy orders.
As a result these are going no where just the seller filling their boots at the expense of the 3 Blind Mice!!

mjr1234 - 20 Jun 2005 12:43 - 925 of 1909

Why do so many non-holders post on this thread?

A bit odd that isn't it?

takahe - 20 Jun 2005 13:49 - 926 of 1909

ASMITH2 - the A doesn't stand for Anomalous, does it? N.S. is very down on this stock, too!
He is also very fond of the three blind mice analogy!!!
EDIT: my apologies, N S..I should not have used a person's name here...I have changed to an initial and taken out the reference.I stand corrected..

Wendy D - 20 Jun 2005 14:03 - 927 of 1909

I think Anomalous prefers the Three Wise Monkeys, Takahe.....

ASMITH2 - 20 Jun 2005 14:33 - 928 of 1909

LOL .!
Down it blows no doubt you guys and gals will wake up and realise youve all been had when this reaches 0p..!

mjr1234 - 20 Jun 2005 14:35 - 929 of 1909

Can only buy 20k online.

Looks like MMs have a big BUY order so are trying to panic out sellers. It worked on you ASMITH2/safe hands/Anomalous1.

takahe - 20 Jun 2005 14:56 - 930 of 1909

Wendy..you are right, shows how carefully I listen! I've got the animals wrong!
A mouse might be a monkey with a different log-in, though..you never know.

ASMITH2 - 20 Jun 2005 15:33 - 931 of 1909

>takahe

If it wasnt for dreamers errrrr sorry buyers over on a competitors bb buying this stock everytime it slumps nmls sp would probably be around 1p by now.
Why do you think Evolution are short selling this share because they like myself Anomalous and gaybriefs are expecting bad news infact Anom knows there is bad news waiting probably the same news that Evo know that are shorting this stock.

mjr1234 - 20 Jun 2005 15:38 - 932 of 1909

Why then can I sell twice as many as I can buy online?

takahe - 20 Jun 2005 15:39 - 933 of 1909

"Anom knows there is bad news waiting " Well..I'll pass that on
I heard something very interesting, too,on the positive side, I think but I won't post it here.

ASMITH2 - 20 Jun 2005 15:54 - 934 of 1909

"Why then can I sell twice as many as I can buy online?"

Dont know why people try to create smoke and mirrors when the facts stare you smack bang wallop in the face this is down this is in a downward spiral you cant defy gravity.Take a look at the chart what do you see....OUCH!
When NMLS lead boots have been detached and fished out from the bottom of the pond please do call!!

mjr1234 - 20 Jun 2005 15:59 - 935 of 1909

"Why then can I sell twice as many as I can buy online?"

That's called a FACT. Something you derampers know little about.

mjr1234 - 21 Jun 2005 13:05 - 936 of 1909

Check out the rainfall table on this link:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/world/city_guides/results.shtml?tt=TT000050

Especially the number of wet days per month.

Blows the deramper's "too much rain to mine" argument right out of the water (no pun intended)!

ASMITH2 - 21 Jun 2005 13:07 - 937 of 1909

In the very unlikely event of nml updating the market anytime soon expect further falls in the sp to 2.75/3.25p .
