Superscape was founded nearly twenty years ago, and has been dedicated throughout its history to the development of ground-breaking software technology for the creation and delivery of innovative, high quality interactive 3D applications.
Over the years, Superscape has amassed unparalleled expertise and experience in the development of 3D software capable of working within the constraints of limited memory devices, slow processor speeds and strictly controlled file sizes.
Drawing on this knowledge, Superscape has established a world-leading position in the development of industry-standard 3D technology and applications for mobile devices. The company's Swerve technology has been developed specifically for wireless environments in close collaboration with ARM, and comprises a 3D engine (Swerve Client), authoring tools (Swerve Studio) and a broad portfolio of 3D content, with particular emphasis on 3D games. Swerve is being adopted on a global basis by many of the mobile industry's leading players, together with world-renowned content and brand organisations.
Superscape has corporate headquarters in Hook, Hampshire (UK) and San Clemente, California (USA) with regional offices in Tokyo and Sydney. The company is quoted on the London Stock Exchange (LSE: SPS).
Superscape (SPS) has received various tips in the press and by Analysts recently which will certainly give impetous to the share price. Indicators are looking good with the RSI rising off an oversold position and the MACD crossing showing BULLISH signs for the stock.
The mobile gaming market is still in it's infancy but the projected revenue is enormous. Mobile operators are looking at tapping the Gameboy market as they feel that users will not want to carry around a multitude of technology and if they have a mobile phone which can double as a gaming station than people will prefer this option.
People should also look at the recent contracts which SPS have signed for their technology. This is a technology company which could well be a great success in 2004.

Points from the AGM
All as I heard and understood them and no guarantees! Some from my interpretations of post meeting informal discussions.
1 No current intention to use approval to issue more shares.
2 Kevin Roberts (just back from E3) presentation very encouraging re opportunities, deals being done and deals under discussion; however substantial implementation work remains. IP holders (e.g. specifically Disney and Universal) very happy with work done so far.
3 Targetting all 10 key Operators, headed by Verizon (biggest US, now announced), Vodafone and Sprint, all expected to be users in 2004; working on distribution deals with other 7, generally +ve.
4 Due Operators Requests, many games will be 2D initially, 3D to follow as many current handsets cannot do 3D. Big early opportunity, additional to 3D expectations.
5 By far largest future Rev opportunity is end user perhaps 90%. (Citywire article used as basis for some rev calcs had an important error re dates ignore.)
5 Significant Nokia work going on but could say little.
6 Multiple revenue models according to project can choose to be Publisher, technology supplier, implementor in different proportions complicated balancing act to ensure sensible mix and good risk/return.
Enough for first post. To be continued.
Continued from No1. Same warning applies!
7 Cash flow +ve estimate mid 2005 still valid.
8 Winning deals with global giant IP holders (Disney etc.) against competition because of unique current technology position.
9 Resources to meet the current many opportunities are fully utilised but managing and carefully moitored. Much game development implementation carried out by trusted 3rd party subs, carefully monitored, and on-going liaison with IP holders.
10 about 25 titles in development, approx 9 releases next 6 months, about 3 per quarter afterward, most out in next 18 months, then a continuing flow.
11 Technology development continues, to maintain competitive lead
12 Lots benefits from riding on big publicity budgets provided by IP holders, (film Cos), releases to joint timescale.
13 Good download numbers so far. $$ per down load were quoted but Im not posting them at present and suggest other posters may wish to consider whether it would be in best interest of Co.
14 Lots other good IP being negotiated with big names. A well known title from 20th C Fox and another Disney won.
15 China a big opportunity being addressed
16 THQ and Cyber Co both explained, both +ve situations.
17 EVBG: no note at present because lots of potential still to be crystallised, thus too hard to estimate. Current ests confirmed.
18 About 12 large shareholders (not 4)
19 About 90 2nd tier mobile operators being addressed via a 3rd party who is well linked to all.

Kyocera Wireless and Superscape Collaborate to Enable the Delivery of
3D Games Over the Air Using BREW(R) Solution from QUALCOMMTM
Partnership aims to optimize Superscape's Swerve Engine on Kyocera's KoiTM
1.2 megapixel camera phone, utilizing QUALCOMM's MSM6100 chip set
powered by an embedded ARM(R) 9 processor
Kyocera Wireless Corp., a leading global manufacturer of CDMA wireless handsets
and telemetry modules, and Superscape Group plc (LSE: SPS), leaders in
revolutionary entertainment for mobile phones, today announced a partnership to
optimize Superscape's Swerve Client software engine for Kyocera's KoiTM 1.2
megapixel camera phone. Koi's oversized 262,000-color screen, ample onboard
memory, intuitive keypad and QUALCOMM's MSM6100 chip set powered by the ARM(R) 9
processor make it a platform that is ideal for downloading and playing 3D games
and multimedia content delivered over the air using QUALCOMM's BREW(R) solution.
The collaborative partnership will make Koi one of the first 3D-capable mobile
phones in North America when it becomes available this summer.
'As Kyocera continues to appeal to a broad customer base, we recognize that both
the casual and prolific gamer are looking for a better mobile gaming experience
on their phones,' said Don McGuire, vice president of global marketing, Kyocera
Wireless Corp. 'Koi offers an ideal gaming platform for next-generation 3D
games, combining robust hardware with a large, colorful screen and an easy to
use keypad. Superscape's Swerve engine will further help us take this new
gaming experience to our customers by leveraging Kois strengths and capitalizing
on Kyocera's history with the BREW solution.'
Superscape's Swerve Client, developed in collaboration with ARM, is a fast and
efficient software solution that, when running on the wireless device and driven
by application code, generates and manages the interactive 3D scenes on the
screen using model description data. Swerve Client abstracts the more complex
requirements for building interactive 3D applications, making it both easy and
fast for designers and programmers to create content without the need for
detailed knowledge of such techniques as 3D rendering. Optimized for ARM
processor design, Swerve Client runs as part of the actual operating system of
the handset and runs games that can either come pre-installed on a mobile device
or can be downloaded over the air using the BREW system or JavaTM.
'The BREW solution has significantly expanded the options available to mobile
phone users regarding the types of content they can to download to their
phones,' said Kevin Roberts, chief executive officer at Superscape. 'Kyocera
launched the first BREW-enabled phone in North America and is aggressively
marketing to the types of users who want the 3D gaming capabilities that the
Swerve engine can enable. We're proud to work with Kyocera in optimizing our
product and look forward to enriching the mobile phone experience for their
customers around the world.'
Koi, Kyocera Wireless' first megapixel camera phone, features a 1.2 megapixel
digital camera with four times the resolution of existing VGA camera phones and
a unique 'swivel' form factor. The phone offers easy one-button operation of
the camera and can be used swiveled open or closed. Koi has a built-in flash
and 5X digital zoom to expand picture-taking options, MPEG-4 video record and
playback, and 16 megabytes of onboard memory for images, photo caller ID
entries, multimedia files and downloaded games. Koi also features an
exceptionally large 262,000-color external display for easy viewing of the
Internet, images, videos and games.
The first of many 2nd tier manufacturers, looks like SPS is going hell bent on america, good idea as this is where the dollars are, thanks Stu!

Strange as it seems to be implying that Nokia are adopting SPS's implementation of JSR 184, although I would have expected an RNS release if this was the case.
Also sales of Van Helsing going well:
http://business.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,8211-1148263,00.html
Superscape, the developer of computer game applications for mobile phones, rose 1p to 30p as Nokia said it had adopted its JSR 184 standard for its handsets, joining a roster including Motorola and Samsung. The company, which is visiting investors in London, has also been helped by the popularity among Verizon subscribers of its game based on Van Helsing, the feature film, for which it receives an 80 per cent royalty.

First Swerve-enabled M3G compliant handsets from Siemens
Check out the information below to find out more about the new Swerve-enabled CX66 phone from Siemens, and the launch of the Swerve-authored 3D Siemens Rally.
Siemens Introduces CX66 Mobile Phone with Built-in Video Camera, 3-D Gaming, Joystick Navigation, Large Memory Capacity
Monday March 22, 7:03 am ET
Wireless Java(TM) technology, large color display, video player offer new level of experience sharing.
ATLANTA, March 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Siemens Mobile today unveiled the new CX66 mobile phone with integrated video camera, 3-D gaming, joystick menu navigation and up to 11MB of shared memory* to store a growing pool of multimedia content that includes video clips, images and games. The CX66 is the first Siemens mobile phone with a built-in 3-D gaming engine [note: this is Superscapes Swerve Client] based on Java(TM) technology that delivers a dramatically improved gaming experience with realistic action and advanced scene rendering. Siemens fashioned the CX66 for demanding mobile users who value solid design, smart functionality, and full multimedia, gaming and personalization capabilities.
The CX66 is a triple band Global System for Mobile communications (GSM(TM)) 850/1800/1900 MHz phone and is expected to be available in the third quarter of 2004. Siemens also will introduce the CX65 in North America, with features similar to the CX66 in many respects except frequency. The CX65 operates on 900/1800/1900 MHz frequencies.
"For today's sophisticated mobile phone users, a handset is a natural extension of who they are and what they do, so it has to keep up with their demanding lifestyles," said Bernt Klein, senior vice president and general manager of the Mobile Phones unit, North America, Siemens Information and Communication Mobile LLC. "The CX66 delivers a variety of advanced features to meet the needs of this growing population."
The Video Graphics Array (VGA) video camera allows users to shoot and send photos and video clips of up to 15 seconds to individuals or groups through Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS). For capturing footage or photos in low- light situations, an optional flash accessory with red eye reduction may be attached to the phone (flash sold separately). With the photo album and photo editor applications, consumers can manage a variety of photos as well as personalize pictures to suit their individual taste. Instant Messaging (IM) offers consumers a nearly instantaneous vehicle for brief text communication.
The five-way joystick enhances the options for mobile gaming and menu navigation. In addition, a personal download assistant helps consumers discover new content and download new images, sounds, screensavers, ring tones and games. When users activate the download assistant, they can select an item, preview its content and decide if they want to download the item.
Transforming mobile phones into pocket-sized gaming consoles is possible thanks to Java(TM)-enabled 3-D technology that turns ordinary two-dimensional mobile gaming into a 3-D experience complete with complex rendering of graphics and game scenes. The technology that powers this new mobile 3-D gaming experience is based on the Mobile 3-D Graphics Application Program Interface (API), also known as Java Specification Request (JSR) 184. JSR 184 defines a lightweight interactive 3-D API for use on Java 2 Platform Micro Edition (J2ME)-enabled devices.
"The race is on to connect everything with a digital or biological heartbeat. We're teaming with partners like Siemens to enable the Java lifestyle, and expose the mobile industry to the big-time innovations of Java game developers. Java 3D capabilities open the door to new revenue streams based on the ultimate consumer experience," said Scott McNealy, president, chairman and CEO, Sun Microsystems.
The CX66 features an up to 65,536-color display, screensavers, and animations and images for use in messaging. The CX66 has a personal information manager to organize calendar, address book for up to 1000 entries, appointments, task list and notes. In addition, dynamic lighting effects and a bridgeless keypad add to the phone's stylish design.
Make Your Mark
There are several ways the CX66 allows consumers to personalize their wireless communication. Each consumer can choose a personal theme, including animated buddy, sound and lighting effects. The phone features up to 40 polyphonic chords, offering a high-quality sound to ring tones, audio files and games. For additional customization, consumers can record everyday noises, such as a barking dog or laughing child, and use them as ring tones and in other audio applications. Consumers wanting to match the phone to their mood or activity can swap various optional premium CLIPit(TM) covers in a variety of designs and colors. And to make it easy and fun to answer the phone, consumers can assign different ring tones, images and pictures to incoming callers.
Additional Product Details
Product details for the CX66 include a weight of approximately 3.2 ounces, an up to 132 by 176 pixel display screen, standby time of up to 250 hours, talk time of up to five hours, a Li-Ion 750 mAh battery, Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) 2.0 browser for mobile Internet access, General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) Class 10 technology for fast downloads and rapid access to Web sites and online content, illuminated keypad, speakerphone and integrated antenna. Optional accessories include an easy-to- install car kit, car charger, handsfree headset and USB data cable.

Hopefully the deal would be with Orange or Vodafone but the Verizon deal is more significant but as a Uk co the news isn't viewed like that. do you have any insight on the nokia tie up, I've been reading Ample but the conversation typically becomes clouded by irrelevance, do you have any idea on what they are doing together?

Deutsche Telekom AG's T-Mobile is investing in US company
SavaJe Technologies Inc, and will join Vodafone Group PLC and France Telecom SA
unit Orange to become a shareholder, the Wall Street Journal reported in its
online edition.
SavaJe is a start-up that is developing an operating system to control
phones with multimedia applications.
The paper cited SavaJe chief executive Bob Gilkes as saying the three
cellphone operators, as well as several venture-capital firms, had just invested
40 mln usd in the company.
Vodafone, Orange and T-Mobile together will own 26 pct of SavaJe following
the latest funding round. Vodafone and Orange both invested 3.5 mln usd in
SavaJe in the previous funding round early in 2003.
The Journal said the move highlights how cellphone-service providers are
wary of becoming dependent on Nokia Corp, the world's largest cellphone maker,
or software giant Microsoft for handset software.
Vodafone, Orange and T-Mobile, together with four other operators, plan to
announce today that they are banding together to call on handset suppliers to
adopt a set of common software standards, it said.
The service providers want to ensure that the latest cellphones run software
that will give consumers easy access to their own Internet sites, videogames and
other multimedia services, rather than services supplied by technology
companies, such as Nokia or Microsoft, it added.
SavaJe Technologies in a privately held company, funded by, amongst others, Vodafone Ventures and Orange Ventures. The company has designed the definitive Java platform for next generation SmartPhones. The SavaJe Operating System fully supports both Personal Profile and Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP) Applications. At its foundation lies a technically advanced multi-threaded, multi-tasking operating system supporting the industry standards essential to the wireless market. Advanced functionality includes full HTML web browsing, SMS messaging, games, PIM, full motion video, and MP3 support. SavaJe also enables Over-the-Air (OTA) application provisioning and device management, including OS patching and upgrades.
By supporting both J2ME MIDP and Personal Profile, the SavaJe platform can run any conformant J2ME MIDP and Personal Profile application created by the 2.8 million Java developers available worldwide. SavaJe's open platform returns control of the User Experience to the wireless carriers and product designers.
SavaJe has licensed the ARM Swerve 3D Graphics Client, developed by Superscape, to embed into its technology platform.
"We are licensing the interactive 3D engine from ARM as a key component of our rich Java platform for SmartPhones. The ARM Swerve 3D technology enables a new level for standards-based Java gaming and user interface options, to turn mobile phones into next generation consumer devices."
