How would you like to trade a market where you get large regular price swings every 10 minutes in the afternoon, seven days a week. A
market where all prices are set purely by supply and demand, few transaction costs, no middle men and you only pay commission if you win? Where you can freely act as a market maker and where you have direct market access and where you can create a spread for others to take?
Betfair has revolutionised the betting market and created an open platform for exchanging risk on sports events. This market is now viewed much more like a traditional financial risk market than an old fashioned betting market. Smart users have realised that there are huge opportunities on Betfair because they can buy and sell risk in much the same way they would in a normal financial market but without the burden of cost or the restricted access that is usually associated with traditional financial markets.

Barry Dennis was interviewed on ATR but they had to get him off camera as he was in danger of libel.
Before that he admitted to it costing him 10K and the industry as much as 7m, due to the amount of money that was on the fav. One thing is for sure, the bookies who have paid out on both results would not have been as forthcoming if the fav was the winner but not given the official verdict!!!

There was a race the other day as well, where a horse was clearly not going to run but was declared a runner. I find the horse racing industry so unprofessional, how they hope to attract a whole range of new customers is beyond me. They really need to sharpen their act IMO. I always find it fastinating that with horses you can openly declare to have inside information and get away with it. Remarkable!

Steve, I thought Arsenal were devastating on Saturday. Fulham were lucky to not get completely and utterly thumped to a pulp. 4-0 to Arsenal was an understatement of their dominance. It made me nip off and check their odds for the champions league.

Always bet everything on your selections. Only homosexuals and women use staking plans.

If draw gets to a reasonable price, I fancy backing the draw with my profit.
