As part of its Corporate Solutions business MoneyAM carries out development work for a number of large companies. We are pleased to tell you that we have this morning launched the second JPMorgan Telegraph Fantasy Fund Manager Game which we have developed, licensed and host.
I got all our replies. I had to go to the telegraph site and send an invitation to the e-mail address you gave me. They then send you a "token". Go to the team competition page and enter your token and you will then automatically join the team.
Thanks for sorting out the invite the other day LW - joined now. PTH to join message little woman with your e-mail address and you'll get an invite e-mailed to you.
I went in earlier today (about at about 10-ish) and all the funds I'd selected previously had been removed from my portfolio. I added them back but wondering if that has that happened to anyone else?
Not looking too good :( How can I lose 9.22% in one day, when the fund in question (L&G UK Alpha) only dropped by 0.39% yesterday?? Do you pay the full bid/offer spread (which no-one does in real life). That's going to severely restrict it if you can lose that much on the bid/offer. It effectively means you shouldn't use unit trusts as they can never hope to keep pace with OEIC's which are single priced.
It seems that you do lose the bid/offer on unit trusts in addition to the 0.5-1% commission, although no official is commenting on the issue on their forum. I'm quite sure this didn't happen last year. Best option would be to avoid them altogether I think - you can lose as much as 10% just on the initial charges.
