Odd drop GD? You could float a battleship on the amount you drink! Fancy a pot of tea?

hilary - 26 Mar 2003 21:16 - 932 of 23498

Earl Grey for me please, Socks.

Btw, did you get my second e-mail with the attachment last week?

Socrates - 26 Mar 2003 21:36 - 933 of 23498

Hilary
If that was the one with the super chart attached, then I did thank you.

I've run out of Earl Grey, would Lady Grey be OK?

jeffmack - 27 Mar 2003 09:18 - 934 of 23498

For LW and Soton Jeff

A quote from Sky News
"Umm Qasr is a city similar to Southampton," UK defence minister Geoff Hoon said in The Commons yesterday. "He's either never been to Southampton, or he's never been to Umm Qasr" says a British Squaddie patrolling Umm Qasr. Another soldier added: "There's no beer, no prostitutes and people are shooting at us. It's more like Portsmouth."

I agree with the squaddies!

Poochy: new thread started by TullettJ regarding Sunday might be relevant to those changing their minds in the trading game.

Golddog - 28 Mar 2003 11:08 - 937 of 23498

It's time i splashed out on you lot, so i have installed a pool out the back with a 30ft diving board. Enjoy.
:-)

Lets have a cuppa.

hilary - 28 Mar 2003 11:15 - 938 of 23498

Fantastic idea GoldDog, but can you fill the pool with a little bit more than 6" of water please?

Oooooooooooh my head!

jeffmack - 28 Mar 2003 11:16 - 939 of 23498

Is Kylie by the pool?

Golddog - 28 Mar 2003 11:19 - 940 of 23498

Sorry Hilary! I will go get a bandage.

:-)))

vasey - 28 Mar 2003 11:39 - 946 of 23498

Yes, Hil, and extremely difficult to respond to!

Golddog - 28 Mar 2003 11:51 - 947 of 23498

Your right Hilary about there not been enough water in the pool. When i landed in the pool next to Kylie it was rock hard!!

hilary - 28 Mar 2003 11:57 - 948 of 23498

vasey,

It reminds me of the joke about the 3 mamas in the Deep South scrubbing away at their washing. Anyway, they get talking about their men and their nicknames for them.

The 1st mama confesses that she calls her man Long John. "Well why, honey, do you call your man Long John?" retort the other two. "Because he's got a looooooooooooooooooooong John!" replies the 1st mama.

The 2nd mama confesses that she calls her man Big Will. "Well why, honey, do you call your man Big Will?" ask the other two. You can guess what the 2nd mama replied.

"And what do you call your man?" ask the first two mamas of their friend. "I call my man Beaujolais smiles the 3rd mama". "Why, ain't that one of them fancy French licquors?" ask the first two mamas curiously. "That's my man!" replies the 3rd mama.

Kylie Minogue - 28 Mar 2003 12:01 - 949 of 23498

It didn't seem rock hard to me, LoveDog. I actually thought that it was quite floppy.
