Can't see why this is up so much today on the above.

cynic - 06 Feb 2007 16:54 - 935 of 1184

change of CEO too i think ... but still see no reason at all for this rise

maestro - 06 Feb 2007 16:59 - 936 of 1184

its down to oil price rise and new green policies....better margins too

Big Al - 06 Feb 2007 17:17 - 937 of 1184

maestro - strange as I thought BFC, with all their money worries, were far from linked to crude price.

Best riser today. I smell a rat somewhere. ;-0

Master RSI - 06 Feb 2007 21:43 - 938 of 1184

hlyeo98 - 07 Feb 2007 10:39 - 939 of 1184

I don't see BFC staying up for long...now 40p...there is no news

Big Al - 07 Feb 2007 12:01 - 940 of 1184

Careful, hlyeo98. Volume yesterday 6x 30day avg and today already 4x so the momve is backed by high volume - good sign to be cautious, but must admit she's stalled at time of writing to possibly retest perious support from underneath.

Watching.

hlyeo98 - 07 Feb 2007 13:27 - 941 of 1184

I don't want to be caught in BFC...up to their heads in debt.

ahoj - 07 Feb 2007 13:53 - 942 of 1184

A bid would be great for holders.

Big Al - 07 Feb 2007 16:01 - 943 of 1184

Can't see a bid, ahoj. As hlyeo notes, debt coming out of their ears.

driver - 07 Feb 2007 16:07 - 944 of 1184

Was looking to go in but looks a bit risky at these levels there will be some profit taking soon I think.

Tonker - 07 Feb 2007 21:55 - 945 of 1184

There could be a bit more in this, but when they start falling they really like to fall like mother f***ers! Be careful before buying into these ones, might be a good day traders stock

TheMaster - 08 Feb 2007 08:14 - 946 of 1184

Biofuels receives bid approach (FT)

ahoj - 08 Feb 2007 09:18 - 947 of 1184

what price? can it be below 100p?

sportbilly1976 - 08 Feb 2007 09:35 - 948 of 1184

From Ft.com

"*Biofuels Corporation gained a further 17 per cent to 43p as takeover rumours continued to lift the biodiesel producer further from last month's record low. Dealers said a possible buyer could be Frankfurt-listed Switzerland-based Biopetrol Industries, which has raised 75m from the convertible loan note."

Big Al - 08 Feb 2007 11:40 - 949 of 1184

Anyone got a valuation on the thing complete with values and liabilities. This outfit is in such a mess things are out of date before you've picked up tyour calculator

hlyeo98 - 08 Feb 2007 12:32 - 950 of 1184

I wouldn't go near this...all this rumours can go to nought.

Big Al - 08 Feb 2007 12:39 - 951 of 1184

True, hlyeo. However, the crazy thing in recnet times is cheap money paying over the odds for damn near anything. Just look at any asset class there is. It'll all end in tears eventually, though. ;-))
