Socrates - 07 Jul 2004 10:31 - 9348 of 23498

Hello! Everyone's woken up. I thought I was on my own for the day so I got the Dyson out and vacuumed the place out, dog fur everywhere. Sod's Law says that now I have company here I have to go get ready to go on an expedition to Waitrose and thence to collect some Canadian relations who are over on a visit. Might find time to pop back later.

little woman - 07 Jul 2004 10:57 - 9349 of 23498

Hi all, thought I'd finally actually drop in for a cuppa, rather than just
read allllllllllllllllll the posts - go aways for a few days, and it takes
forever to catch up.

optomistic - 07 Jul 2004 11:23 - 9350 of 23498

LW I dont think that you will have the time to read all the posts, they keep very late hours here. Welcome back and hope that you have had a pleasant holiday break.

little woman - 07 Jul 2004 12:00 - 9351 of 23498

Thanks, but it was a very unpleasant break - certainly not a holiday.

Its nothing worth going into, but it is still taking up too much of my time
trying to "move on".............

stockbunny - 07 Jul 2004 12:17 - 9352 of 23498

LW 'moving on' in whatever sense is always tough to do - looking forward
is pretty much all you can do....
So what would you like for lunch LW? And it is nice to see you!!

Opto - your steak is done....

Fundamentalist - 07 Jul 2004 12:29 - 9353 of 23498

optomistic - 07 Jul 2004 12:49 - 9355 of 23498

littlewoman, plenty of tea in the pot for you maybe calm you down with those american friends of yours!

Socks, You have cornflakes in your bed! Well what a messy lot you all are. I will not ask how it happened but maybe someone was using your bed when you were not there! Goldilocks perhaps?

Socrates - 07 Jul 2004 13:56 - 9358 of 23498

Once upon a time there were three bears.

Now look how many there are!

Just popped in for a quick look at what's happening in the market.

I hope you have all taken notice of the severe weather warning, battened down the hatches, prepared for high winds and VERY heavy rain. If not, get with it now or take the consequences.

stockbunny - 07 Jul 2004 14:34 - 9359 of 23498

No rain here yet but it is blowing very hard out there and I'm watching
a very large/tall tree in full leaf in nextdoor's garden - if that 'goes'
it will take potentially a couple of house roofs with it!

Only GD having dessert today? Are the rest of you feeling alright?? (lol)

little woman - 07 Jul 2004 14:36 - 9360 of 23498

What I really need is a "strong" cup of coffee, but as I only come home to work!

stockbunny - 07 Jul 2004 14:47 - 9361 of 23498

You NEED something more then black coffee, strong or not...
how about your favourite tipple in with it, an Irish coffee or
French? And it's too windy to drive about, so you wont be going out..
so you can have a couple maybe...and how about some profiteroles to
soak it up...oh go on....

optomistic - 07 Jul 2004 14:51 - 9362 of 23498

You temptress Bunny, how can LW resist that

stockbunny - 07 Jul 2004 14:55 - 9363 of 23498

Ah she's a strong lady Opto, a strong lady (lol) ahhh.. I wish I was..
but there again if no-one is going to eat this summer pudding, I'll have
to eat another piece...(giggle)

stockbunny - 07 Jul 2004 14:59 - 9364 of 23498

Opto - whilst you are here could you check the men's room for me
I'm trying to track Dave down to tell me where to look for some
info on the BFP site, he was here, he was there, now gawd knows! - cheers!

optomistic - 07 Jul 2004 15:06 - 9365 of 23498

Had a look around for info on BFP. Shareholders do receive vouchers to spend as a discount of 10% and a card for Bookers C&C. Cant see Dave anywhere though
