Tanfield Group is the new company name of Comeleon. As I understand it, Comoleon was getting into trouble so TAN (paerent company?) took over. Since this has happened the share price has dropped by 0.25p each day for the last week or so (on average) and are now around the 3p mark with very little activity.
Does anyone know much about this company or previously held stock in Comeleon? There is virtually no info out there other than on the company website.
cheers
Mike

Nice story, but where's yr evidence? - Many TAN shares are being sold at 11p-ish as punters and their Brokers take profits from recent Lows ( c.5p). Can't blame them for that - - - but Jarvis?
Is that [JRVS], the Rail company?- They might be big-enough - but, No! - their expertise is not in manufacture, it's (meant to be), in running large contracts as per Rail-Track....so I'm most surprised anyone ( esp. JRVS), would bid 40p when they could get away with far less..........how did you come across this?
Having said that, the [JRVS] work might make them a Buyer of said access equipment and any new-developments of the same - so as to reduce their contract-costs. At these low prices it might make sense, perhaps as part of a Consortium...
..= pure speculation...isn't it?
I don't believe it, sorry.....time will tell
- I hold a few from recent turmoil.

The information is relevant regarding Tan a bid is to be announced as the Jarvis as long term experiance of transport. In addition as Mr stanley and golman sachs bought shares recently this was classed as to revitalise the company as no debt is occuring only profit. Therefore a take over bid is due for TAN details to follow .40p.

Jub, I think "story" a load of rubbish. At 40p there are too many punters out of pocket and that undervalues potential of company.

Have a look at the prx of JRVS they aren't exactly booming... I'm not sure about this one, i've asked two different mm and they haven't heard anything...
I do think this stock will bounce back to 16-20p but not because of a take over

if there was a bid comimg on monday the market would tell you, they would not be trading down.
at the current market price no company would pay over 200% premium to the current s/price, what they would do is build a stake at cheap levels first.

Quite a fall today on 10/12 million trades, marginally more sells. 10/10.5 is getting tight, so some common-sense must be dawning....but not yet
Look, the City thought this Snorkel-deal was worth 1.60 - but they've found out - they overpaid to get their Xmas07 Bonus "in the Bag". Yet they must have looked at the figures - werer they "so-wrong" - I doubt it, maybe even half (=80p) wo8ld be underpaying...
Well now it's come undon and PI's aren't too happy - except of course the level of Dilution was far less. Goody!
SO, City, you got it wrong, but I suspect not "that wrong" - most of this fall is Market driven and fair-value must lie somewhere 50-80p - let's not forget they are opening new sales offices in the Middle East - and they have plenty of cash - if Snorkel can find a route in there ( with the UK expertise, etc.), then this will turn Snorkel hugely. Don't forget that the US in Iraq will prefer to use US-sourced gear...so again there is a plus.
What we need is the results from the Auditors to know what's what. Only then can collars be felt. I suspect this will go on and on, but hopefully there is a sound business with "future earnings" written large.
The current sp hardly covers the doors of the electric vehicles - this was always a small-part of the total, yet PI's here and elsewhere only looked at the elec.veh. but at these levels that has to be undervalued.....City types examined the Books only last August.

Enova Systems Comments on Tanfield Group PLC
TORRANCE, CA, July 15, 2008 - Enova Systems, (AMEX: ENA and AIM: ENV and ENVS), a production company in an emerging industry and a leading developer of proprietary electric, hybrid and fuel cell digital power management systems, has announced that it has fulfilled, on time, all quantities of previously scheduled orders for drive systems delivered to The Tanfield Group PLC for their Smith Electric Vehicles division.
Enova supplies 100% of drive systems used in Smith Electric's Newton and Edison models. Enova does not supply battery container systems or any components impacting the supply chain issue referenced in Tanfield's interim results update released on July 1, 2008.
Among the items highlighted in its interim results update, Tanfield announced that although demand for electric vehicles has held up, it now expects lower forecast sales of electric vehicles. To date, Enova has delivered 450 drive systems to Tanfield, consisting of 306 units in 2007 and 144 units in 2008. Enova previously expected to supply Tanfield with in excess of 1,000 units in 2008 and as many as 3,000 in 2009. Due to Tanfield's realigned growth strategy, Enova now expects significantly fewer orders of drive systems from Tanfield in 2008 and 2009.
The Enova drive system design is suitable for different applications and vehicle producers. As a result, Enova believes it can mitigate any decline in Tanfield orders by redirecting inventory through sales and production with other customers. Enova customers also include FAW, IC Bus, Isuzu, Wrightbus, and Darwen.
"The market for electric vehicles is expansive," said Michael Staran, President and CEO. "Enova will continue to execute on its goal of becoming the premier clean vehicle solution in the medium and heavy truck and bus market."
