Several customers were injured when a car crashed into a Black Country pub, causing part of it to collapse.

Fred1new - 06 Apr 2008 10:48 - 942 of 1427

Stan, Think you got home safe and sound. Enjoyed the chat. I will be sending you important info by E-mail.

Meet up in about 3 weeks time probably at the Old Joint Stock in the Cathedral Square.

Stan - 07 Apr 2008 09:35 - 943 of 1427

Agree, food is very important thank you -):

Old Joint Stock is a bit more central to the station but would be nice to find a quieter corner with plug facility of course. I've been up stairs once in the past but can't remember what the acoustics were like maybe Chris has a view on that?

At the OJS didn't know there was public access to upstairs other than to the theatre (which is dark, cold and echoes)...?

Stan - 09 Apr 2008 12:10 - 948 of 1427

Went up there a couple of years ago, bit noisy then and just assumed it is still open.

Pic. at the bottom right is of the upstairs by the looks of it.

Ed: "our service friendly and our staff attentive."...somewhat of a misprint don't you think -):

Yes, absolutely.

Stan - 18 Apr 2008 21:56 - 954 of 1427

Released the prices at last...and what a let down with the Saver price only a 1 or so better then Virgin on a slower service. The advanced booked fairs are even worst then Virgin.

http://wrexhamandshropshire.co.uk/ticket-prices.php?station=shrewsbury

They have no chance of competing with Virgin as it stands, oh yes and there's no quite carriage either. Most disappointing.

Fred1new - 23 Apr 2008 11:18 - 955 of 1427
