Apax Partners is mulling over a bid of about 200m for Postman Pat owner Entertainment Rights. The private equity house is considering buying ER and merging it with Hit Entertainment, acquired by Apax for about 500m last month .

ENTERTAINMENT RIGHTS APPOINTS SENIOR US EXECUTIVE

production, acquisitions, video, TV sales. Hricik previously held positions at
Orion Pictures, Metro Media TV Producers Corporation and TV Globo.
Hricik will be responsible for the strategic direction of ER's growing business
in the US as well as overseeing all of ER's television, home entertainment and
licensing and merchandising activities for the US, Canada and Latin America.

driver , thats a bit of a bummer dropped 1.5p, hope it stays over 30p, dont see it as a problem long term though , what with the bid speculation and the product launch in the US these will be well up by xmas..
