Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Hi

Still no joy

IanT(MoneyAM) - 23 May 2003 08:45 - 942 of 7315

Ian

Kayak - 23 May 2003 08:48 - 943 of 7315

Just did, still on red.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 23 May 2003 08:49 - 944 of 7315

Ok,

can you right click on the stockwatch and open link in a new window?

By the way can you get streaming on the trades page or is this showing as the same?

Ian

Limpsfield - 23 May 2003 08:49 - 945 of 7315

just done that - still the same

IanT(MoneyAM) - 23 May 2003 08:52 - 946 of 7315

Guys,

Is the actual red light showing?

Limpsfield, just made a few adjustments behind the scene's can you log out and then log back in and let me know if the problem has cleared?

Ian

Kayak - 23 May 2003 08:53 - 947 of 7315

Closed all browser windows, cleared cache again for good measure, and reopened, still the red light.

Right clicking makes no difference, and trades page is down too.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 23 May 2003 08:54 - 948 of 7315

Kayak,

can you do th esame as limpy - log and then back in - I have made a change at this end. Please let me know?

Ian

Limpsfield - 23 May 2003 08:57 - 949 of 7315

Ian - right click open in new window works for me

Kayak - 23 May 2003 08:57 - 950 of 7315

Aha. Feeding the hamsters worked, thanks Ian.

Limpsfield - 23 May 2003 08:59 - 951 of 7315

Yep - all back to normal

And I was so looking forward to saying - MoneyAM you are costing me thousands, it's just not good enough, don't you know who I am etc.. Maybe next time

Thanks for sorting

A minor annoyance on the streaming stockwatch page is that when an announcement appears it is not possible to right click on the news marker and open a new page for the news. When I do this the whole page changes and then you have to go back to the streaming stockwatch page afterwards.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 23 May 2003 15:29 - 953 of 7315

Thanks for the feedback Haystack, I will pass it on to the Technical guys and if we can do it we will, Will let you know.

BrianTrayda - 23 May 2003 15:43 - 954 of 7315

Haystack - there's a standard Windows combination to open a link in a new window. Do Shift+LeftClick.

Haystack - 23 May 2003 16:26 - 955 of 7315

BrianTrada
Thanks. It does work. I am just used to right clicking and then Open in new window.

FTSE tick for major FTSE indices?

One page only, avoids annoying need to scroll.

One horizontal bar per index (FTSE100, FTSE250, All share, Techmark ,...)
Each bar is colour coded (blue/red) in proportion to riser/fallers.
Numbers of riser/fallers and perentages at either end of the tick-bar.

Double clicking on the tick-bar brings up the heatmap.

??

Thanks

axdpc

I will pass your comments on to the tech team.

Stock alerts to MoneyAM session.

Perhaps the 'ALERTS' button can turn to RED when there is an alert for the
user? Similarly for 'NEWS' button (i.e. turn RED when there is new news in
the last 5 minutes)

Thanks

Enhancement suggestion - Downloadable afterhour trades data.

The trades can already be viewed, one page at a time, via the TRADES sections.
Would it be possible the extend this facility to downloadable, after hours,
a whole day's trades data.

Thanks you.

Username login - I use window washer on shutdown and when it washes it clears the username and password on the Moneyam site. All other passwords usernames for other sites are ok.

Is it something peculiar with the way we log on to Moneyam that leaves the details open for a scrub?
