new millennium resources (NML)

LEEWINK - 28 Mar 2004 15:45

NML is due its interrim results now, last year it was the 28th of this month.

They are setting up a new site to explore/research/analyse and all the equipment to do this should be on site now, and drilling should start soon, all this extra news should be covered in the interims.

does anyone have any further positive views on this company ??

mjr1234 - 21 Jun 2005 14:18 - 941 of 1909

Why?

Can't see any sellers GayBriefs.

Why are so many non-holders posting on this thread?

A bit strange that don't you think?

Or are they all the same sad individual (EDITED MONEYAM)?

takahe - 21 Jun 2005 14:22 - 942 of 1909

I wonder why they all (!) keep hanging around, if they have sold out.

Dynamite - 21 Jun 2005 14:32 - 943 of 1909

I think they have an unknown agenda. Never mind it makes no difference. I have just realised that the 4p shares are becoming my lucky shares but need lots of patience. NOP I bought at 4p and it sat there for ages. Gradually it has crept up and now it is around 14p. SEO was another of my 4p buys and look at that. NML is my third 4p share and I have lots of patience. So just ignor the idiots, don't get wound up ...just wait.
:-)

ASMITH2 - 21 Jun 2005 15:34 - 944 of 1909

LOL - Theres your seller again hes taking 3.5p now for the 500ks - still confident are we of good news!!!

mjr1234 - 21 Jun 2005 15:37 - 945 of 1909

Good riddance.

ASMITH2 - 21 Jun 2005 15:41 - 946 of 1909

Millions more where that came from mjr1234
If this seller is dumping on Inside Information there are going to be some real burned fingers with this.

mjr1234 - 21 Jun 2005 15:46 - 947 of 1909

There's also going to be some real prison sentences for the insider dealers as well as all the derampers on here who claimed to "know something", if that turns out to be the case.

Which it won't, because they are just juvenile bullshitters.

ASMITH2 - 21 Jun 2005 15:51 - 948 of 1909

Be very careful mjr1234 do you honestly think someone would dump huge amounts of shares if they knew good news was about to be released,of course not but they would dump them if they knew bad news was on its way now wouldnt they.
We have only got the trades to speculate on.

mjr1234 - 21 Jun 2005 15:53 - 949 of 1909

They would dump them if they didn't know if good or bad news was about to be released.

Why do you automatically assume larger sells are from insider dealers (an illegal activity)?

Was the 225k buy yesterday from an insider dealer?

mjr1234 - 21 Jun 2005 16:29 - 950 of 1909

WOW 3.5p what a bargain. Can only get 10k though grrrrr.

takahe - 21 Jun 2005 16:29 - 951 of 1909

ASMITH2- how interesting that you are still taking such an interest. I am recording your posts.

mjr1234 - 21 Jun 2005 16:40 - 952 of 1909

Nice 660k buy.

Lots of smoke and mirrors going on. I say good news tomorrow now the mystery buyer has got in on the cheap.

Wendy D - 21 Jun 2005 18:30 - 953 of 1909

I would put it to most posters here that an awful lot of things have been overlooked - or perhaps deliberately ignored?

Some proper research would reveal a lot.

EWRobson - 21 Jun 2005 19:37 - 954 of 1909

If you look at the actual trades there is no evidence of anything sinister: (1)in the last sevcen days, sells have been consistent at 3.5p with higher prices likely to be buys, it is the spread that has varied depending on quotes from MMs presumably; (2) there has been nothing of any size until this afternoon and, though 550K looks big, its only 20K; (3) if there has been some shorting it is pretty small beer. Suggestion that evolution are shorting: if they were they would do a better job of it!

I agree with Wendy, takahe, mjr, dynamite that the jury is out, but that there are many positive considerations, although also negative concerns. Also baffled why those who have sold continue to pester the bb rather than move on. If I return to a former holding, fallen on bad times (e.g. YOO), its probably, first, to commsierate, second to put something positive back in.

Andy - 21 Jun 2005 20:37 - 955 of 1909

Eric,

1) IMHO the price has been held at 3.5p BID to prevent selling, especially from 3.7p placees.

2) That's a fair amount if it was a private investor, IMO.

3) NOBODY in their right mind would short NML (or any other stock) at 3.5p, as the potential downside is limited ie 3.5p. whereas any good news would drive the price up quite quickly.

takahe - 21 Jun 2005 20:42 - 956 of 1909

I don't think you can short NML..
to prevent selling from 3.7p placees...nonsense...MMs don't give two hoots for who is selling..if it is placees or whoever. How would they know?. It could be Zuks liquidating much needed money

Andy - 21 Jun 2005 21:23 - 957 of 1909

takahe,

Neither do I, but others seem to think so, hence my reply!

You're posting "nonsense" because you didn't read my post properly!

MM's aim to balance their books so if they are encountering selling, they will ower the BID until it dries up. they don't care who is selling, they simply drop the BID until it dries up. There was consistent selling until they dropped the BID to 3.5p, when it stopped. That was a few weeks ago.

As there are a number of placees in at 3.7p, it is POSSIBLE that one or more are salling, and once the BID dropped below their buy price of 3.5p, they stopped selling.

In the last few days there have been a number of sells, but at smaller amounts than before. This MAY be because they are breaking larger sells into smaller blocks, or that private investors are selling, rather than larger holders, such as Zuks perhaps.

stockdog - 21 Jun 2005 22:03 - 958 of 1909

Still no reply from my email to Daniel Stewart or the copy to John Cross sent later - in contrast to the replies we get from other more shareholder-conscious directors.

Andy - if MMs holding SP low to prevent 3.7 placees selling, how long can they avoid this? One day they will have to cross that line to raise the SP. Can they hold out indefinitely for good news to keep the placees in?

Since we were promised action by end of Q2 some time a go, are we due a TA before month's end?

Andy - 21 Jun 2005 22:13 - 959 of 1909

stockdog,

MM's balance their books, so if there is buying demand, they will raise the BID for sure, but if their is selling, they will lower it until it dries up, which, until today, was 3.5p.

I'm not sure it's placees selling, but they bought in at 3p and 3.7p, and once thie BID was lowered to 3.5p, the sells stopped.

It may be coincedence of course, or that they are waiting until the BID is raised, we will have to wait and see.

If good news is reeased, buying demand will return, and the bid will rise, but not until.

Today's action suggests there is selling rather than buying demand, IMHO.

I'm not sure we will hear any news this month, mining commenced late, so that may delay any announcement into July.

takahe - 21 Jun 2005 22:17 - 960 of 1909

Andy..I did read it..how can you possibly TELL that it is placees?
Regards shorting ..the market cap is too low
We'll see what happens before too long, no doubt.
