Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Perhaps,

Theresa and Liam should swim home clutching bits of paper with "Trade in our Time" written on them.

Already read it.

Looks similar to what the fate of the UK might be under the stewardship of the tories and neo-fascists.

Already read it.

Actually, what was projected at the time of the bail-outs and the fleeing if tax-avoiders from Greece, as is happening in the UK.

Looks similar to what the fate of the UK might be under the stewardship of the tories and neo-fascists.

A few years after Brexit those in N I might face the same situation as Brazil has to, just to safeguard the border from the South. With the Euro going into freefall they might be rushing northwards to try free themselves from their masters in Brussels/Germany.

I see the French fishermen are doing their best to persuade us to stay in the EU Fred.

They all be out of a job soon anyway when they can't fish our waters.

MaxK - 29 Aug 2018 21:13 - 9421 of 12628

You haven't factored in the May effect Dil.

Fred1new - 29 Aug 2018 21:53 - 9422 of 12628

It is more likely that you won't have fish and chips.

This is what the EU needs to be told as Britian stands up for itself:

Victory for Brussels is inevitable. In adopting Chequers, we have gone into battle waving the white flag

Boris Johnson

So it’s ding ding! Seconds out! And we begin the final round of that international slug fest, the Brexit negotiations. Out of their corners come Dominic Raab and Michel Barnier, shrugging their shoulders and beating their chests – and I just hope you aren’t one of those trusting souls who still thinks it could really go either way. The fix is in. The whole thing is about as pre-ordained as a bout between Giant Haystacks and Big Daddy; and in this case, I am afraid, the inevitable outcome is a victory for the EU, with the UK lying flat on the canvas with 12 stars circling symbolically over our semi-conscious head.

A bunch of "inadequates" in fancy dress!

The beauty is that TM`s attempt to navigate the Channel will leave her floudering and result in the Public getting the result they voted for and want - Out means Out!

She should stick to dancing. She's good at that.

Hmmm? Maybe not.

Most of you on here will know I'm a 'big time' JRM fan.

I like the clarity of his communication which is always backed up with strong facts.

Here's a clip which is very interesting to listen to and well worthwhile watching as JRM clarifies the actual position on things as he answers listener's questions about the Chequer's Brexit Meeting:
