Stormy
It's pure luck I can assure you. I read an article today from Hemlock, no that's not right, Hemscott, yes that's it. It was about all the classic errors in investing, I saw myself peering from the page, yes I've made them all. I was just reading a post on another BB where a chap has a 65 bagger, can you believe that! The stuff that dreams are made of.

STORMCALLER - 07 Jul 2004 22:48 - 9414 of 23498

Socs,
I have found that luck beats skill every time, and if you have it don't knock it, I think it is as much true in this game as any other. Don't you just hate common errors stories that seem like a biography, drive me nuts!

amberjane - 07 Jul 2004 22:51 - 9415 of 23498

Evening all,

So many posts to get through...belated BIRTHDAY WISHES TO DOTEL.

Talking of luck...well what a weird time I had yesterday. Bout 3.00pm decided to go to London to see F1 event. got up there bout 5 and they had closed Ox Strt tube so went to Piccadily, good move. Met lady in queue and she worked at a hotel right by the start line. She got me through security told them I was her client. Absolutely fantastic. Saw Coultard, Button and Pablo.... bout 10' from where they did the do-nuts...superb. Took this lady, Stella for a bite to eat as thanks, went back to hotel for nightcap, met 2 ferrari mechanics, sat in his masserati, but wasnt allowed to drive it, some people ahh. Then at 1.00am Marti Pellow booked into hotel, couldnt resist a quick chat as he went past.

so that was the good bit, missed train home got back at 4.00am and other half furious and well.....

So Socs , you're on the up, good for you my friend, long may it continue and I'll have a large VAT and drink your health before retiring to nod.

I thought I'd done well with prm but a 65'er it 'aint!

Talking of Canadia; I wasn't, you wuz, funny thing but the only ambition I had before I reached Grammar age was to be a Mountie.
I think it was formed in the old grey matter when my pater took me to
The Royal Tournament, [either that or the 'thought that they always get their man', darling!].

STORMCALLER - 07 Jul 2004 22:58 - 9419 of 23498
