I can`t believe how IE have allowed their Hotmail to be taken over by flashing ads which make it unreadable, thank god for alternative browsers.

Is it possible to buy a 42" or larger TV with HDMI connections, and plug my PC into it so long as it has HDMI

If not what monitors over 42" should I be looking at, as I think it would help sort out my 3 monitor proble in the future, looking at around 300-500

Surely that only allows you (via a HDMI splitter) to view multiple sources on one screen? Not multiple screens from one source?

Sounds like VNC (virtual network computing). VNC thumbnail viewer a possibility. Regret out of my league as have never used it. Hopefully someone else can assist.
On the subject of screens with HDMI connections, looks like 40" is about the biggest. For some reason anything above that seems to be pretty rare.

You can do it but the resolutions on the big screens TV's are not that much higher (if any) than a current 24" monitor. Usually they are 1920 x 1080 resolution. Here's an example. So basically a 42" TV/monitor won't give the same amount of screen "real estate" as three 24" monitors. It'll just show the same as one of your current screens but bigger.

Windows 7

recently upgraded pc and now using windows 7, booted up last nite and found that my programs especially IE9 are see thru, and the IE tabs pop up along the bottome as little pictures on the taskbar, How do i go back to the original settings

Yes that's how it is by default. Try this - right click desktop, choose 'Personalize'. Scroll down to 'Basic and High Contrast Themes' and change the theme to Windows 7 Basic or Windows Classic, which will turn off the 'Aero' features like the transparent windows.

I installed a dedicated graphics for 3 monitors which are woking fine on it now

But if the motherboard has a intergrated graphics card with DVI, VGA adaptors installed and I've also put in any old PCI graphics card again with two more adaptors, I can only use the new dedicated graphics card i've just installed I thought I be able to at least add another 2 or even 4 monitors at a later date as I've got 4 adaptors free still

I think you'll find that the graphics card you installed overrides the integrated graphics chip on the motherboard. I'd expect that any extra graphics cards installed in other slots should allow extra monitors to be attached.

Incidentally, which 3 monitor graphics card did you install? I'm thinking of doing likewise on my Win7 64 bit machine. Nice powerful machine, but graphics are a let down at the moment.

Hmmm? After reading a mention of it in your '9431' I thought you wanted a 3-monitor facility.

I'm using an eVGA GeForce GTS 450 FPB Graphics adapter - 1 GB - GDDR5 SDRAM to run two Dell 2209WAB Ultrasharp 22" Monitors on my own Windows 7-64bit machine.

The connection choices available were either VGA or DVI and as you can see from the spec' the resolutions obtainable from this card were very high and so the resultant monitor images are brilliant.
