In the recent Agm the chairman said "the company has made a positive start to the financial year and the board remains optimistic about prospects for the business."
Pre-tax losses have also nearly halved from 6.4 mln to a loss of 3.4 mln on cost cutting. They have also had a successful fund raising.
Also chart indicators show that it may be time for the next leg upwards past recent resistance at 7.5p. and please remember you are responsible for the timing of your own buying and selling actions.

Think azhar's post from City Equities makes excellent reading. It really does fill me with confidence for the next 12/24 months. Have recommended the share to a very close friend today who's planning to invest - wouldn't have done that if I wasn't sure of the future.
Anyone have any guesses (educated or otherwise) /thoughts as to the sp at the end of 2006?

Apparently the 6 months to Nov (ish) were profitable! Therefore the probability is that as a result of all the significant improvements over the past year, this coming year is going to be profitable!
The question is...How big is the profit going to be? Regardless of the size of the profit, the fact that this company is now into profit requires that a substantial rerating of the companies value is made...which has got to be good for the current shareholders

Source as above...quote...
The article only states that - "The CardBASE Technologies business acquired last year has seen a period of excellent sales progress and delivered the first half year profit in that company's history."
Cardbase is only one component of IDD.
I'm heavily into these. I think now is the time to get in, before general market awareness, but let's get the facts right.

interesting post from iii..
I'm going to guess (although it isn't really that much of a guess, as I've worked in this area at a 'strategic' level) that it will be fronted by EDS - because they always put in the 'cheapest bid', ...and always fail to deliver...and change more for minor alterations to the contract), with IDD being a subcontractor or partner. Yes it is possible that when the ID Card process begins, then EDS may have a go at swallowing IDD.
Interestingly enough, I reckon that the sum of the parts of IDD (cost on the market) of all the elements should come in at about 60million (ish), compared with current valuation of about 12million. Overall I'm very impressed at that considering the amount spent on aquisitions. This is a remarkable company, and if EDS intend to have a go at 'swallowing' it, then it'll cost them more than 6p a share based on my current 'guesstimates'. There is nothing cheaper around worldwide that can provide the same solution! Once the ID income comes on line, then the value of this company is anyones guess. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mole,
Do you think there is panic selling/
or is there something we dont know about/,very tempted to add at this price
Mr Mole

If the sell is due to a company selling its holding because of difficulties then I'm sure there's no reason to panic....don't believe the fundamentals have changed..i.e. losses still reducing, more markets opening up etc etc. I've no spare at the moment, but I think it could be a good time to top up.
Good luck whatever you do capetown.
