Of course it's a rollover.
Someones holding a 2m share position, either short or long on a T+, and has chosen to lengthen the period they hold for, either because the share price hasnt reached their target, or they can't afford to take a loss on closing the position.
SueHelen - you said you had more than 2m - are they bought and paid for, or is your pump and dump turning sour .......?

jameel - the price is irrelevant. When you rollover a t+ trade you agree with your broker how much margin they'll take - in this case 0.01p x 2m. (200)
You can execute the trade at any price between bid and offer, makes no difference - essentially, you're closing an old position and opening a new position. You do this by buying the shares on one side that you're selling to yourself on the other.
Sophisticated pump & dump merchants sometimes use this technique without rolling over to manipulate the charts by artificially generating volume and to confuse and encourage novice/sucker investors.
Don't be the idiot that falls for it.

Gausie, thanks. You learn something new every day.
Should trades like that not be marked to distinguish them from an ordinary trade?

Hi Capetown,
T-9 trading days (approx) until update from asset sale in South Africa
Seen the 2 * 2 million trades.....definite a rollover. Though its good to know that someone is holding 2 million shares at a price of 0.60 pence - must be confident.

It should be remembered that the MMs were charging 0.75 pence last week....a premium of 0.25 pence on the offer price of 0.50 pence for anyone looking to buy 500,000 shares. MMs can manipulate online prices as they know we look at them and they do read these threads.
So don't just observe your obversation on the online limits....the online buy limit may be 250,000 shares at 0.60 pence at the moment...but only one person may able to get that many at the 0.60 pence price....then the offer could jump to 0.70 pence with the online buy restricted to something like 50K.
I'm very happy with my top up of 362,000 shares at 0.60 pence on Tuesday. Nice holding of 2.40 million shares and I'm more than certain once the news starts coming through the MMs will pay me 2 pence or more for my holding.

Then again follow Gausie round and listen to him....he's missed out on 100% already...I'm sure he must be rolling it in somewhere considering the time he spends here.
Wouldn't surprise me if he is still using the one line deramps.

i must be really thick. Dec 23 2003 (when SH started the thread) Whog 2.5p today 0.28p, will someone please tell me where i am going wrong. where has this 700% rise come from???? for about 2 days it rose to 6.75p then quickly fell all way back and under. If backers of SH and SH him/herself wants some of us too take him/her seriously you need to post some common sense. If the charts on MoneyAM are wrong then of course i apologize.

Kivver - nothing wrong with the charts.
There's a mental health condition known as 'conduct disorder', more common in children than in adults, but still sometimes found in adults. A typical patient with conduct disorder frequently and compulsively lies - when asked why they lied, they simply don't know. Another way in which the disorder manifests itself is by the sufferer needing to con people, typically for money, but also sometimes for power. This is where the 700% comes from.
Sorry to be so heavy so early in the morning, but you've asked the question a few times now.

Happiness is a very personal thing, I guess that showing a paper loss of 25% in a matter of days might excite a masochist.

Another 1 million rollover trade at 0.60 pence.
