Morning all

FEB and black coffee please

Socrates - 08 Jul 2004 10:12 - 9456 of 23498

Hilary
Not me, quite a philistine where art is concerned, now Xanthippe is another story. Regular visits to the London galleries for exhibitions etc. I just know what I like and modern art doesn't fit in there at all.

Oh oh, looks like the percolator needs filling up, more strong coffee ready in a minute. More toast anyone?

stockbunny - 08 Jul 2004 11:43 - 9457 of 23498

Toast would be good but not the stuff left over from 10.12 this morning
please! And some of that marmarlade Socco, it looks good!!

Socrates - 08 Jul 2004 11:46 - 9458 of 23498

stockbunny
Come now, would I try to pass off old toast on to you? Not a chance, the gannets have had it anyway.

stockbunny - 08 Jul 2004 11:52 - 9459 of 23498

Sorry Socs....How are you?
Has the rain/wind put pay to the jobs you were going to do this week?

Socrates - 08 Jul 2004 11:58 - 9460 of 23498

stockbunny
Jobs all out of the way. Today is a stay-in day due to the weather forecast, though it's not as bad as was predicted, so far at any rate. Shame really because we were anticipating a trip to Hay on Wye, book capital of the World. Tomorrow will do though.

stockbunny - 08 Jul 2004 12:01 - 9461 of 23498

Oh..hope the weather is indeed better for you then tomorrow! It didn't
get as bad as they predicted down here either, but that said it was still
pretty unpleasant!

Socrates - 08 Jul 2004 12:05 - 9462 of 23498

Down here, but how far South of Watford?

optomistic - 08 Jul 2004 12:50 - 9463 of 23498

This market is as dull as the weather. Will have a cup of tea and a sit down then I'm away to find something useful to do around the house.

Socrates - 08 Jul 2004 13:02 - 9464 of 23498

And that, of course, is the signal for all hell to break loose. But have the tea anyway.

Abbie2u - 08 Jul 2004 13:02 - 9465 of 23498

where are you ajren ??? We are going to valencia for 13 days in august and
would like to meet up in case our daughter needs help beating up some aggressive
locals.

Golddog - 08 Jul 2004 13:25 - 9466 of 23498

Socrates - 08 Jul 2004 13:28 - 9467 of 23498

F1 in London, sounds like a normal motoring day around Hyde Park Corner!

Abbie2u - 08 Jul 2004 13:30 - 9468 of 23498

................... and tea for me

daves dazzlers - 08 Jul 2004 13:32 - 9469 of 23498

really bad sore throat today,,,goldie can i have some herbal tea please.

Golddog - 08 Jul 2004 13:34 - 9470 of 23498

dazzing dave, I did my school work experience in a photographers all those years ago, really enjoyed it, going to weddings, shot a few golf stars, even a gnome collection for a magazine! btw, it is nice and dark in the cellar ideal for developing film. (and no jokes about shooting golfers Socks!)

Golddog - 08 Jul 2004 13:35 - 9471 of 23498

herbal tea coming up! bit of a pong! (socks feet i suppose)

Socrates - 08 Jul 2004 13:42 - 9472 of 23498

How dare you sir, I wash my feet regularly every month, whether they need it or not. Have you been rolling in something socially unacceptable again!

daves dazzlers - 08 Jul 2004 13:47 - 9473 of 23498

well small world goldie .i ran my own business {photography} ,i also did weddings, portraits, school`s,but it was the motorsport side that had the buzz.we used to hire brand new camper vans and just take off,on average 20,000 miles a year,,,,,,i guess thats why i hate driving now, there`s nothing like going to dalby forest 2 days before the event started. nice tea

hilary - 08 Jul 2004 14:24 - 9474 of 23498
