Jobs all out of the way. Today is a stay-in day due to the weather forecast, though it's not as bad as was predicted, so far at any rate. Shame really because we were anticipating a trip to Hay on Wye, book capital of the World. Tomorrow will do though.

Oh..hope the weather is indeed better for you then tomorrow! It didn't
get as bad as they predicted down here either, but that said it was still
pretty unpleasant!

This market is as dull as the weather. Will have a cup of tea and a sit down then I'm away to find something useful to do around the house.

And that, of course, is the signal for all hell to break loose. But have the tea anyway.

dazzing dave, I did my school work experience in a photographers all those years ago, really enjoyed it, going to weddings, shot a few golf stars, even a gnome collection for a magazine! btw, it is nice and dark in the cellar ideal for developing film. (and no jokes about shooting golfers Socks!)

well small world goldie .i ran my own business {photography} ,i also did weddings,portraits,school`s,but it was the motorsport side that had the buzz.we used to hire brand new camper vans and just take off,on average 20,000 miles a year,,,,,,i guess thats why i hate driving now,there`s nothing like going to dalby forest 2 days before the event started. nice tea

You weren't joking when you said that you were an art philistine, were you? Ask Xanthippe, she'll almost certainly know of their work! They're a couple of famous British watercolour artists.

Russell Flint was famous for his nudes and Sturgeon for his scenes. Their work is a little bit out of favour atm as punters prefer the modern arty-farty stuff which is all the rage, so now's the time to pick up their large format signed limited edition prints whilst they're cheap.
